Radeons are currently useless for Iray, due to the need for Nvidia Cuda cores.
As for 3Delight, I'd imagine that more cores would be a good thing. Not sure if the graphics card would help you much though.
There's been rumors of a Radeon Cuda core emulator thingie for a while now, but I haven't seen anything yet that works in Daz Studio.
Daz is joined at the hip with Nvidia at this point, although I for one would love to see Daz Studio taking full advantage of what the Vega Frontier (the one with the 2 TB of onboard storage) can do. Blender already has...
