Millicent for Victoria 8 (commercial)

Presenting Millicent, for V8.

A beautiful character for Victoria 8. She features a full LIE makeup system so makeups can be used on any character in your Library. She features 4 skin-tones to add greatly to her versatility.

It's like having 4 characters for the price of 1.

Enjoy! I can't wait to see what renders are done with her.

Cheers,

Anna

She looks stunning, I bet she looks gorgeous without V8 too. I like that she has lots of options too .

Definitely on top of my wish list until I can afford to get her.

I like her, have a question though..well several :) I guess that the first promo pic of her is with the Finley hair just a bit longer and with other shaders? What are the other hairs used in the promos? It list Fraser hair too in the products that were used, but I can't see that one in any of the promos (unless I do seet it and just don't recognize for some reason) :)

    The other are

Out of touch: Christina or Cailin hair (they're similar).

Thank you :) I'm waiting for my paycheck and I hope the economy is working for me to get this lady this month, otherwise I'll have to wait I'm afraid

Beautiful! And four skin options? Wow! I must've missed that.

EDIT: Just looked at the product page, really impressed. With the LIE makeup and multiple skin options, this really is a quite a few products in one. Well done!

Lovely but what UV set does it use?

Gen 8, which is the same as Gen 3.

Are the 4 different skin tones done via 'only' adusting the base diffuse oolour or are there more underlying chnages to SSS, etc.?

No there's changes to the SSS and translucency.

    Greetings,

@SimonJM On the second from the left there's some seam lines on her thighs; they're not there in the promo pictures, and I was wondering if you had an idea why they showed up in this scene?

I can think of no reason why that would be so, and on looking I can see that it si indeed so!  Each was a load of 38F, a load on each of the base MAT, then a load of the tone modifying textures, then moved and posed.  So, in effect they are basic, stick, un-modified G8F figures with textures applied. I'd have to assume that there's something amiss with that texture option in some way.  Not sure if it's auto-suggestion nut I think I can see a similar, less marked, effect on the right-hand figure too.

  • How strange.... I've just tested on my PC and cannot get that seam line issue....

The thing on her hand looks like a specular highlight, not a seam.

Ooosp, me not being spcific the right-hand-most figure, not the rigth ahnd ;)  I'll see what I can find in stooging about with the materials

Not managed to recreate this, even with using the original scene file!
