I see this in my port scanner using Hexagon. No other Internet conections.

One is from:

IP Address 190.93.242.173
Host 190.93.242.173
Location CR CR, Costa Rica
City San José, 08 -
Organization CloudFlare Latin America S.R.L
ISP CloudFlare Latin America S.R.L

The other is fron GoDaddy.

Is this correct ?

I also have this seems strange as it doesnt need you to connect to the internet for it to work. seems like I will put a block on it now.

    Thanks for the info.

    Steve.

There is an option for hexagon to check for DAZ news:-

    Edit-> Preference editor-> User Interface-> Misc-> "Check DAZ news"

Disable that option, that should stop the Internet connections.
You can still block it in your firewall, as Hexagon does not need Internet access to function.

    Hello Steve.

Yes, I know that I can stop or block them. But I was waiting an explanation about the IPs domains. I expected DAZ domain's servers. Not this other ones.

Today are the same conenctions again. Not started until Hexagon is started. Well... then is Hexagon who is connecting.

I see this today from other site. Seems that is DAZ in an outer server. Please DAZ, say it if this connections are malware. If not:

    Whois Server Version 2.0
Domain names in the .com and .net domains can now be registered
with many different competing registrars. Go to http://www.internic.net
    for detailed information.

You will not get a reply from DAZ on this forum. You should contact them directly if you want verification from them.

Windows XP and above will create a internet connection for apps that dont even have options to connect to the net.
If you turn off or unplug your connection, time how long it takes any number of apps to launch.
If takes longer to launch without a internet connection its probably windows OS.
Theres also crash reporters built into daz ware as well as windows.

Nothing can create an Internet connection if is not programmed for that. ( Except if is infected and then is the virus wich is connecting ). You can launch a lot of apps in WIndows and you never will see them in a sniffer opening ports to connect.
