I just downloaded Daz3d 4 and I have windows vista 32bit I have it installed but it want open I click on it and it appears to open but disappears. What do I need to do? Thanks

Are you sure that you got the complete file downloaded? What size is it? Did it install correctly?
Sometimes downloads get corrupted, and in that case, you should clear your Browser cache, and try downloading and installing it again. If you feel that it not the problem, you could try running the program in Compatibility mode.
One more Question: Are you sure you installed the 32 bit version?

I have tried compatibility mode and I have tried re-downloading it and re installing it nothing seems to work.

You are not getting th download correctly. The file should be around 130 MB, and you are only getting 4k, which is a tiny fraction of what it should be.
You will need to try downloading again I'm afraid. You could try a different browser, and the file should take a while to download.

Yes, that's the right size. The problem you'll see sometimes is that file sizes can be counted with 1MB equal to 1000 kB or 1024 kB. Both can be correct, depending on context, but they're never both correct at the same time. For large files, that little difference mounts up.
nothing works tried re downloading and reinstalling it I am not sure what's happening.
Did you look at the file you downloaded to see what size it was? Was it 123 MB when downloaded, or is it less than that?
You must make sure that the full file is downloaded. When you installed it what happened? Did the installer run correctly, did you get a DAZ Splash screen and have to answer a few questions?
Did the installer put an icon on your Desktop?
It's 123 when downloaded and here is what it says on my properties when I right click on the icon on the desktop: Size: 1.81 KB (1,857 bytes)
Size on disk: 4.00 KB (4,096 bytes). When I set it up it seemed to set up right I got all the agreement questions and got the finish setup screen at the last and there is an icon on the desktop however I do have to disable my antivirus software cause it says it's not safe so I re downloaded it and disabled the antivirus software to set it up.
That's the size of your shortcut, not the program itself.
My shortcut is identical in size.
O now I feel really silly. How do I find out the size of the program?
Go to the folder where your downloaded files are stored and check DS 4.5 there. Right clicking on it will show the downloaded file size

That seems to be the correct size, and if it installed correctly, all you need to do in theory is double click on the icon on the Desktop to run it. You will probably need to 'Run as Administrator' or the equivalent on Vista (not sure if it is the same).
If it is still not running for you, check that your AV software is not stopping it. You may have to put DAZ Studio on a 'trusted' list or similar.
I put in allow on my antivirus software and it still want start I see the startup screen then it disappears and doesn't run. Guess I want be able to use it. Thanks for the help.
