Could not open start up scene:
Hello Fellow Artist,
I have just recently installed and started to get familiar with the interface..
I then proceeded to buy some figures and accessories...
Then I saw the promo about the installer manager and decided it was best to have a fresh install of everything...
To have my new installations managed by the manager.
Now when I open studio I get this message : Could not open the start up scene : /Users/John/Documents/Daz 3D/Studio/MY Library/People/Genesis/Genesis.duf File does not exist.
So I went to the My Library folder and found that the only folder in their was a Scripts folder...
This is my first week with Daz and I am learning lots and thought everything was cool to commit to a deadline over the weekend and now I can't figure out where my content went to..
thanks for any help in advance,
Johnny

When using the DIM you need to change the Directory paths in DS4.5 from this...
C:\Users\User Name\Documents\Daz 3D\Studio\My Library to this
C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library
I hope this helps.
Many thanks Jaderail!
Found It On The Mac @ Macintosh HD/Users/Shared/My DAZ 3D/People and all is Good! Make Sure You Tell Who Is In Charge To Give You 2 Raises Because I Said You're To Good For 1!

LOL! Pay? I'll ask the boss but I don't think it will go over very well. Happy to have helped.
Still Having Problems With The Install..
Here are the products i have installed with manager however when I open the interface only V5 and love my hair is found..
1) Briana
2) Fun and Flirty
3) Genesis Evolution Head Morphs
4) Genisis Starter Essentials
5) Genisis Starter Essentials PoserCF
6) Look AT Me Eyes DS
7) Look At Me Eyes Ps
8) Love Me Hair For Gensis
9) V5 Poses
10)Victoria 4.2 Muscle Morphs
11) Victoria 5
12Victoria 5 Poser...
I am not sure why I am having problems locating these items when I open nothing shows up on the right side under products like the example videos and I was able to find the victoria 5 folder on the right hand side in the menu tree but nothing else can be found - i.e. look at me eyes, victoria muscle morphs 4.2, Briana, Fun and Flirty, etc. etc... some of the items i bought not realizing they wont work with victoria 5 like Victoria 4.2 Muscle Morphs...
I would like to get rolling in this interface because i figure out so much in my first go the other night and now after switching the move over the the installer manager it has left me a little confused because I can't find all these cool things I just bought...
cheers,
Johnny Boy...
Some files won't be found in Smart Content because they don't have associated metadata. You'll find these items in your Content Library pane, usually under "Poser Content". Victoria 4 is a good example. All of the Gen4 content is Poser format and doesn't currently have associated metadata, which means Briana won't appear because she requires the original Victoria 4 figure. You can, however, use her texture sets by applying them from the Content Library.
Fun and Flirty is a texture set for the summer dress. If you select the summer dress, the material presets will appear in the smart content, but otherwise will remain hidden. Remember that Smart Content is context sensitive and hides items which you can't use on the selected figures. If you don't own the summer dress, you will not be able to use Fun and Flirty.
Genesis morphs are automatically placed in the shaping tab. Select any Genesis figure and you'll find the new sliders in the shaping tab, under the relevant heading. This will include any character morphs such as Classic Gen4 shapes, Aiko or Hiro shapes.
Look At Me eyes should appear in the materials section of the smart content pane when you have Genesis selected.
That covers all of the things which you're having difficulty with. One thing to be careful of is to always check the required items of any product you buy. This is listed underneath the 'add to cart' button, so it's usually hard to miss. You can request a refund of any unusable items as long as it's within 30 days of purchase. You are, of course, required to remove any such items from your computer.
