Avatar Problems

Hope I'm in the right place...

I went to "Your (My) Control Panel" and attempted to upload an avatar from my PC. The file is 100 x 100 and ~17kb. I have it as a .png, a.gif, and a .jpg. I tried them all and all I get is an error msg saying [There was an error uploading your avatar].
How do you install an avatar to your forum account?

    I believe that there is a problem with this at the moment.

    DAZ are aware of the problem.

    Yeah, avatars have been broken for something like 6 to 8 weeks now...the middle of January, during the server move.
