MorphLoader Pro has stopped working
Hi
I'm using DazStudio Pro version 4.0.3.36 - 64bit and have been for quite a while and up until a few days ago all was well. But suddenly in the last few days I have been unable to import morphs from Zbrush with MorphLoader pro.
Nothing about my workflow has changed the obj's all look right and MorphLoader itself says it's importing successfully, but they simply do not appear anywhere, certainly not under the Morphs scope where I am trying to put them. I tried restoring my Daz 64-bit folder from a few weeks ago, to do avail...
I even went to reset my downloads but all it offers is Daz 4.5 which I was reluctant to switch to.
Seriously at a loss here and would really appreciate any advice anyone might have.

What figure(s)? Please post your options from Morph Loader Pro for one of the non-loading morphs.
I'm using a V4 with Morphs++ model. I've added 6 fix morphs to this model already. I've tried different permutations - All Group / Bone nodes - Group bone matches for selected nodes - Primary selection (vertex only) which is what I usually use. I set property group to Morphs and reverse deformations to yes.
Since I've tried restoring my DAZStudio folder including plugins is there maybe some state or preference file somewhere else that may have gotten corrupted. I've tried it with several models at this point and it doesn't work with any of them even though I've added many sculpts to them in the past few weeks.
Have you tried with an OBJ that you had previously loaded successfully? Have you tried turning on Hidden Parameters in case the morphs are hidden (parameters pane option menu - right click on the tab, or click the button in the top corner).
Yes I've tried both things. No luck. I've tried with multiple past models & multiple obis.
I've tried exporting from DAz posing the model slightly differently and re-importing the unmodified obj and still no luck. In each case is says morphs created successfully but they don't appear where I choose or anywhere else that I can find.

I mounted by application and document folders on another mac running 10.6.8 and launched the same DS4 and loaded the same file. It couldn't find the files textures or previously created morphs of course and I didn't bother to help it locate them all so the model came in with no textures or any of my previous morphs functional (though the control parameters were still present of course) then I tried adding the morph with MorphLoader pro as normal and it worked. So my best theory is there is some incompatibilty with the lastest 10.7 update I did around the time I started noticing the issue.
Has anyone reported issues with DS4 and recent OS 10.7 updates? I can try to restore my entire system from before the update but not my preference.

Do you have anything suspicious in the DS Studio log-file? That might be a good starting to track this down.
My guess...yes, the update is probably the most likely source of the problem and the problem is with some permissions, somewhere. Apple seems to have caught 'fiddle with permissions' bug for almost every recent update...other than that, I can't offer any more help.

Yupp, the log might tell you what files cannot be opened or written.

I believe the software updates that were installed prior to breakage were these

Differences are highlighed.
Looks like there was a problem loading the morph, which should not be related to any of the programs you updated, but things can go wrong, I know.
As I said, the only difference between these 2 output logs is the version of the system being run, same DazStudio same scene file same OBJ on import.
Same thing happened to me, was able to import the OBJ in poser though.
