MMoir Sponsors Challenge 34, Sing to Me Muse
Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Mike Moir (MMoir) is sponsoring this 34th Carrara Challenge

In addition to the Daz sponsored items, an image or animation will be selected to receive an item from Mmoir's Daz products.
Mike Moir is a long time Daz PA and a leading member of the Carrara community. Mike Moir started in 3d around 1995 with Raydream Studio 5. He was doing Architectural Illustrations by hand at that time and decided to make the switch to working on the computer. The options he looked at were Bryce and Raydream Studio and he chose Raydream Studio because it seemed more full featured. Of course, Raydream Studio became Carrara and he has used Carrara ever since for his Architectural Renderings as well as for fun. He enjoyed entering Cgtalk challenges in the past and found those challenges to be great learning experiences, sadly they don't seem to have those challenges any longer. He dosn't remember exactly when he became a Daz PA but it has been a while. Right now he is more interested in animating than modeling but still enjoys working in 3d.

That's a good reason to try to do something this time (animated, of course), Thank you Mike!
PS: I did'nt know you made so nice things, these ones are superb!
Mike's sets are amazing. It is probably related to his architecture background. When I decided to make animations eligible this month, I was hoping he would agree to be the sponsor. Seems very fitting.
yep... +1 for Mike
I wonder if anyone would notice if I entered 'Gone to Australia' in the animation section
Thanks Mike for your support
DUDU, Superperb is putting it mildly. I don't have all of them but what I do have are excellent!! to Mike for sponsoring.
I have his two scenes... love Mystic Gorge. Wish we did not have this wedding stuff going on. Sigh.... Silene
So, if this Carrara hopeless tyro bought that Winter Scene pack, I could render an image like that one up there ↑↑↑
Yes. The winter scene was rendered from the default scene load from the vantage of a camera preset using default render settings. Same for the others, BTW. I did not try to improve upon Mike. Camera angle presets can be saved and accessed from a menu in the uppper left corner of the current scene (distinct from pemanent menus running along the top and left side of the user interface). I don't remember which renders were done with default load / default camera angle and which were done with default load and then one of Mike's included camera angle presets chosen from the camera menu.
terrific news, as Dart pointed out there is a terrific city scene hiding in one of his sets

Oh... I cannot find that in the tree, even though it's listed in the landscape pack. Will have to look in the pdf that comes with it.
I also have his Island Butte Cafe scene, too! https://www.daz3d.com/carrara-s-island-butte-cafe Silene
@SileneUK add the mmoir prop items to your Objects tab and get easy access that way..
Thanks! Silene
