dumb question for most of you

I really like the smart content tab but I find it a big hassle to go back and forth between that and the content tab is there any way to move all of my things to one place or the other?? Thanks in advance...Trish P.S. does any one else get the " the product might have not installed correctly" box that comes up I have noticed it mostly with the unimesh fits on the clothes???

    Product Not Installed Properly is a Win7 maybe 8 thing and can just be ignored. The Content Library Tab does show all your Content but the Smart Content Tab can only show Items that have MetaData. I only use Content Library for that Reason.

    I get that product might not be installed correctly all the time when installing DAZ content... I ignore it.

    You can organize content in DS any way you like. I no longer use hte Smart Content, but as I recall, it's right click to catagorize, and you can create custom categories.

    I've taken to adding my own metadata for products which don't have it. That way I can find items I want far quicker than trying to remember which one of a dozen folders that particular prop or outfit was stored in. It's a lot of work to set up, but once it's done it can greatly speed up future workflow.

    Herald, how did you add your own metadata?? and is there a way to restore the whole set up back to default since I messed everything up ...colors panes and the like ...I now hate the way it is

    Catagories in Content Library are far better. My stuff is in the folder I put it in. And I do not HAVE to select a item before it will list.

    Jaderail; thank you for your input is there a way to restore everything to the default position since I have changed all the screen colors and customized the panes I have really messed things up!!

    Window > Layout, switch to another layout and then switch back.

    Thankyou soooo much!!!! man I thought I had messed it up for good.....I am leaving it alone now....Ha
