Is it possible to set transforms for an object to zero after setting it up for starting orientation?
Is it possible to reset the origin or pivot point of an object?
Is it possible to find the answers to these questions in DAZ help?

I am not sure what you mean about setting it up for starting orientation? If you want to Zero the firgure, use the drop down menu in the Parameters pane, where you can zero the Figure/Pose/Shape etc.

To change the origin, you can have a look at this mini tut by a menber here : http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/15552/

I have no idea about your third question, I knew the answer to the first, I found the answer to the second by entering 'Pivot' in the searhc function.

If it's a single-part prop, not a posable figure, then you can "freeze" any transforms by exporting as OBJ and then reimporting, using the same preset for import and export, then copying the material settings across from the original.

I used the null option which fixed everything. Thanks Guys
