I'm working my way through Diomedes's beginner tutorial. I have encountered a minor but frustrating problem. I was able to work with the Blonde ND sample hair, render, and save the file; but when I closed the file and later re-opened it, the hair was an "unrecognized object" that loaded back in as a tiny cube hidden inside the character's skull.

Carrara doesn't tell you which object failed to load, so after looking around the scene in my viewport and finding no cubes, I figured it was a bogus message and moved on. It was only later upon rendering that I discovered the hair missing.

Are these failures to load frequent? What do you do when you encounter them?
