Re-setting expressions
I saved a scene with a character's face posed to a particular expression. Now I need to set a new expression so I want to "reset to zero" first, so I can start from scratch.
I assumed that if I selected "currently used" with head selected, it would show me all the morphs I have set so I could then reset the dials one by one. But I have reset anything that isn't reading 0% but the face hasn't gone back to the starting position (ie zero on all morphs).
Why is this? Does saving a scene start the new expression from zero again? It's most frustrating not being able to reverse the feace expression I've done.
BTW it's V4.2 with morphs++

How did you set the expression in the first place? Using sliders or using an expression morph? In the latter case there will probably be a reset morph with that package as well.
Try this:
1. Select the HEAD
2. On the Parameter Tab, click the Active Pane Options (little white square with horizontal lines)
and go to Zero>Zero Selected Item(s) or Zero Selected Item(s) Pose
When I tried it I found either one removed the dialed in [removed]s) but left the head shape alone.
I set the expression using the regular dials in V4.2 (such as brow down, cheek crease etc). But when I re-load the scene, some of those dials seem to have been set to a "new zero" with the face still changed. In other words, it looks like it has redefined the zero position from the changed expression, so I can't change it back.
Dialling expressions is tough enough without having the extra complication of doing it on top of an existing expression! I like to start with a "clean slate" as it were
