Promos
Hello;
I am trying to find out which lights were used in the making of these promos. My guess is, the Reality plugin...but i am not sure.
I personally dont think that Daz Studio was used as the main application. Maybe Vue...or Octane render...of course it could also have been Carrara.
I have no idea how to contact the vendor to ask him/her this question.
I thaught maybe any body on this forum with an experienced eye can more or less detect what was probably used for these promo renders.

The promo artist would have used DS.
Seems very obviously a Luxrender to me. Possibly either Reality or the new Luxus plugins. Lux has a very distinct tone to the image, which is visible in all of the promo images except one (I'm still split on whether that was a Lux render or Octane, but 3Delight seems unlikely for any of them).
I'd guess Reality/LuxRender for all of them, but the only way to know for sure would be to contact SimonWM. You could try sending him a PM, or his Facebook page is here: https://www.facebook.com/simonwm3d (I assume it's okay to post this link, because he links to it in the signature of his own forum posts).
Anyone that thinks those images had to be rendered in Lux hasn't experimented enough with Studio's built in lights.
They could be Lux...but the glass/water doesn't look quite right. They almost look like Cycles renders, but there's a couple of things that don't look quite right for that, either. They aren't Octane. Some of them look like some of the new IBL packs for lighting...and most of them seem to be using environmental lighting of some sort. Many of the other items in each scene look 'default' as far as materials.
My guess, they are (90%++ chance) 3Delight/straight Studio renders...but with much better than average lighting.
I used Reality/Luxrender for all the promos but the two with the small panels, those were done with Uberenvironment.
Well, none of us got it exactly right. Great renders (and poses, of course), SimonWM! :-)
