Dynamic Clothing not working

Hi,

Could someone help me with instructions on how to use dynamic clothing? When I try to drag it onto a genesis figure, the autofit window isn't appearing and the clothing never appears on the figure. I tried it on a V4 figure and the clothing does not appear either.

Is there a something different you have to do with dynamic clothing to add it to a figure?

    You use the Dynamic Clothing Control plugin to "drape" the clothing on a figure. DS4.5 comes with the basic version, there is a version with more features in the DAZ store.

    You can access the Dynamic Clothing Control tab from Windows>Panes(Tabs)>Dynamic Clothing.

    Edit: Note there Dynamic Clothing designed for use in Daz Studio OR Poser. Poser Dynamic Clothing will not work in Daz Studio.

    Thank you for the help,

    I must be missing something, but I can't see the dynamic clothing tab. Am I looking in the right place?

    It should be under the first item on the Menu.. "Tabs"..

    It doesn't appear you're on the most current version of DS4.5 Pro from looking at your image. The current version is 4.5.1.56. You can access that info from Help>About.

    EDIT: In Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\Plugins folder you should find the Dynamic Clothing Control plugin file for the basic version: dzoptitexclothbasic.dll

    It looks like I'm on a newer version (4.5.1.6). Could it be somewhere else on this version by chance?

    Actually the six is not "60". Version, 4.5.1.6 is older than 4.5.1.56.. so you can upgrade by resetting your downloads for DS4.5Pro if you carted/bought it via the DAZ Store.

    You're missing a lot under your Panes(Tabs). Did you "Buy" DS4.5Pro via the store (for free) which will issue you a DS4.5 Pro serial in your Daz account. That will give you a lot of the "Pro" tabs in my picture. If you downloaded it via say cnet.download.com, you have the serial number for the "standard" version that doesn't unlock the Pro features.

    I updated my Daz software and it now has the dynamic clothing (although mine shows in "tabs" instead of "panes (tabs)" Thanks for the help in finding this. :)
