Are you using the DAZ Install Manager? It's a good tool for installing 3D content, but it will not install the DAZ Studio application itself. You can find brief instructions for doing that here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/18694/
The problem is the system isn't showing a 64 bit for mac file only the 32 bit?
On the "My Downloadable Products" page there is a little dropdown menu with the number "10." Change the "10" to "50" to make sure that you can see all downloadable files. There should be a 64-bit Mac version somewhere on the list.

hi, new user that came from an ad here. yeaaah, those links are gone... my mac is confusing me and I don't know where the file for the app itself is, even though I just downloaded it.
