Hi Fellows,

I am trying to move FacesGroup from one Surface to a new one
and boom I am loosing the texture map ( the image assigned).
Any ideas why that happens ?

Thanks in advance
Roman

Which faces are you moving from which surfaces? It's important to realise that certain parts of the body use different texture maps entirely, so if you move them, it might display incorrectly or not at all. Limbs are generally kept separate from the torso, for example. Another thing that's important to realise is that if you create a new surface it will default to a matte white material. As long as the faces were part of the same surface originally you can simply copy the texture from the old surface and paste it into the new surface you made. It will remember the UV's and give appear seamless, allowing you to edit and tinker at your leisure.

I'm not entirely sure what you're trying to do, so that's a difficult question to answer. Is there a particular reason you want to change surface settings for that area? Remember, each surface can only have one diffuse texture assigned to it. If you need a different texture map for that region, you'll need to assign it to a different surface.

I'm not sure what you are trying to do either, but it might be that what you actually want to use is L.I.E, the Layered Image Editor.
