Orc and Goblin Hordes M4 - injection problems

I just went to use the Orc Horde M4 and Goblin Horde M4 in Poser Pro 2012 today, and the injections for the head shapes won't apply to M4. The bodyshapes seem to apply correctly, and the MATS, but not the heads.

I have tried extracting the files from the .zip file again, just in case there were some files that are missing, but nothing has changed.

I have both the Orc and Goblin horde installed in Poser's main content directory, as well as my external runtime, and neither locations work.

I also have the required content, Michael 4 Creature Creator Morphs and Michael 4 Morphs++, installed so that isn't a problem.

Has anyone encountered this problem before? Any suggestions of what the problem could be?

*facepalm* This is why I shouldn't use Poser when I am sick.

I am used to injections applying automatically to the base figure, how standard character morphs behave. Orc and Goblin, add the dials to the properties and I have to twiddle the dial to apply the morphs.

Hope you feel better. And yes, I did them as injection only rather than inject and dial because people like to mix and match a little. At least I do. This isn't really a character but something that can be used as a starting point for a big group. Plus it is really ugly if you dial them all in :)

Hope you like and glad you figured it out.

When I finally stopped facepalming and realised how they were going to work, I actually like how the Orcs and Goblins were set up. Allowing mix and match of elements from each of the faces, will allow for greater customisation. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to play with them beyond "now I know how they work, back to bed"

Hopefully I will feel well enough to play around with them tomorrow. I just love the texture mats though. Their skin and eye options look fantastic!

Sorry to dredge up an old thread. Perhaps I'm the latest one being thick. :red: I did the same thing, only I can't find the dials I'm supposed to adjust to dial in the head morphs. I like the idea of mixing and matching too, but what are the names of the dials???

I'm using Daz Studio 3, I have M4 with morphs++ and creature creator loaded, the body and the MAT files work fine, but how do I make the head get ugly?

Hi there, I am not using DAZ studio 3 anymore but here is how it works in 4. I am a little rusty with M4 but you load the figure, load the INJ Orc Horde, which loads the morphs and then you can apply the textures or body morph poses. To find the head morphs they are visible in the parameter tab or area and they are under Other. At least in 4.6. The names are Orc Horde 1-5. Thanks. I have subscribed so I should know when you respond, at least hopefully. I do have DS3 on my old machine and I can look there if that doesn't help.

Thanks for the reply. I selected the M4 figure and ran the INJ Goblin Horde script. I don't see the 'Other' category in the Parameters tab on either the head or the body. Is Other a DS4 thing? I thought this product was released before DS4.

    Solved:
Tripped up by the Power Loader. When loading M4, there's a line in the power loader dialog that says, "No Metadata found: Goblin Horde'. I needed to check that box when loading M4. Now it works. Vladimir was similar, but there was a handy icon in the Power Loader menu for him that reminded you to check the box. It works now. He's suitably ugly!

Cool. Glad you got it working. I was able to get it to work in DS3 but I was linked to Poser more and I had everything feeding from there. Powerloader probably would have stumped me since I never used it. And glad you like :)
