2 questions: use V4 morphs on Genesis and can´t see downloads from other sites on DS4.5

Hello everyone!

I´m using ds4.5.

I have two questions:

1. If possible, how can I use V4 morphs on Genesis, because I have some characters that I really like and I would love to use them on genesis.

2. All characters that I download from other site than DAZ Studio, and that i have to install manually don´t appear on the program. I put the files on each folder of My Library....

Please help me!

    1) You can do this with http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-generation-x and http://www.daz3d.com/v4-and-m4-shapes-for-genesis

    2) Where are you looking for them? They won't appear in Smart Content if they don't come with metadata, but they should appear in Content Library.

    I downloaded from Renderosity...The content library that appear on DS4.5 are the content of DS3 that I have. So how can I see both content DS3 and DS4.5?

    You have to tell DS4.5 where your content is.

    Go to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, and list the path to your content in BOTH DS and Poser formats.

    And after this i will see both content? DS3 and DS4.5.? How they separated?

    Yes

    You will see the DS4.5 content under My Library if that is where you put it, and the DS3 content will probably be under Content if that is where it is installed to. Look under both DAZ Studio Formats and Poser Formats to find your content.

    If you look at the Content Library it lists two different types. Daz Studio formats and Poser formats.

    Under the Daz Studio formats you'll find your DUF type files and materials specific to Daz Studio.
    Under the Poser formats you'll find your CR2 type files and materials specific to Poser.

    Much of the stuff downloaded from Renderosity is Poser compatible, or uses the Runtime folder to store its data, which means it will appear under Poser Formats in the Content Library.
