I know I will but unfortunately I don't think many will be interested, I mentioned this - meaning a challenge without prizes, just for fun, a few months ago.
But I think a contest without prizes is still better than no contest at all.
I would like to participate without prizes if prices are a problem now.
Just for fun and to practice.
I'm not in it for the money, although it is a great surprise to be able to buy something for free once in a while. But I agree: a contest with no prizes is better than no contest!
I hope the Contest will alive, even if we have to give up the Prices.
I just had an idea, after posting my renders in Rashad’s lighting scene. It will be fun if someone set up a scene in default materials, interior or outdoor, using objects from preset or those that are permissible without violating anyone’s rights and share it with us. We apply the textures, lighting and change the camera positions. I think it will be interesting to see what each one of us comes up with.
Just a thought.

Sure... "Just Do It!" You know for me this "lapse"... has been very uninspiring as far as Bryce is concerned... I have had some items in my Daz shopping cart for months now... and I don't feel "inspired" to spend the money... I have in the past shopped for items that would be included in a Render Contest image... that the Challenge inspired me to do... Beyond frustration rather than inspiration... I have lately checked in this forum just to see what has not been done... and then I move onto spending time with Hexagon... just for my pleasure, because I'm not getting it here.

Mermaid, thats a good Idea, I think... but don`t know if its possible.
Just for the record. I am still lurking around. I had pm'ed choloe immediately after the contest finished to ask permission to host another one. I didnt want to overstep my boundries, so I have been patiently waiting for a reply.
However if people are ok to do one ( off the records ) just for fun? I am always more than willing to host one up again.
I can get one up and running by the end of this week if people want me too. Just reply in this thread so I know if people are interested
I was thinking of Starting a new Challenge on 1st Dec, and letting it run through till about halfway through January, Or else I was going to leave it till 1St jan and make it a New Years , new start type one. Either will work
Chohole, if your busy. I dont mind taking the riens and making the post for you :). Drachenlords has already decided on what theme he would want for the next contest.
We have a little list.
And the next theme requested was Space.
