I like it. It's not exact, but it's close enough that you know who it's supposed to be. I think a little more work and you'll have it!

    THANK YOU, DANA!

    MINI CONTEST

Everybody catch Lord Ganthor's announcement on Page 22?

We want renders of real people's REAL PETS. Enter as many times as you like between now at Sunday April 21, midnight DAZ time.

NO NEED FOR A FREEBIE LIST OR LINKS. Just bang out a picture and post it here.

Dogs, cats, pigs, Nemo, or any invertebrates you might have at home, as now being listed by opal42987 on Page 1 of the Freepozitory. Loads of ideas, although I'd stay clear of the drows, which don't strike me as being very "real" (no offence, Moderator Jaderail) or even as invertebrates for that matter.

The one below has already been done, so think of something else.

    ENTRY #7 THIS MONTH

KRISSY! You used to be CRAZY! Me too!

Of course I never "hung around" in the woods wearing a long black dress and a necklace (despite all the peer pressure to do so).

In order for this to qualify as a "real person" -- notwithstanding the fact that it's YOU, and as far as we know, you ARE a real person -- you're going to have to explain what specifically you were doing in the woods with your "buddies".

Apart from that we have three Renderosity freebie links, and for all I know you could be making them up too, so SOMEONE ELSE PLEASE VERIFY that these exist:
    Little Dress
    Necklace
    Bangle

And finally, I got the door slammed in my face at Nerd3D, alleged source of the Cigarette. Alarming but also amusing warning page, saying my ISP has been a bad boy, a Bothost, no less, and was added to a "honeypot". It DOES offer an email link so I can plead to be let in, but it just sounds too weird. I don't recall EVER visiting Nerd3D, and all my malware software says my system is clean, so maybe they're having a problem with referrals from DAZ.

ANYBODY ELSE HITTING THE SAME WALL?

    ENTRY ACCEPTANCE PENDING

UPDATE--DANA has kindly verified the rest of the links, and so ...

ENTRY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA -- wait for it -- CEPTED!

Dude.. seriously.. what we didnt do. from ínspecting how Ant's venom is good agains a common cold to gathering the birch's juice ( on of my friends was crazy about folk medicine, and was making us to do experiments). And also some other things I cannot disclose :P

I am not having any problems with Nerd3d link. It is going directly to the item page..

Ooooooooo, experiments with bug juice! THAT takes me back!

Okay, Krissy, I gratefully accept that very REAL accounting.

Now we have to wait for somebody on the dark side of the planet to wake up and

HELP US CHECK THESE OTHER LINKS, PLEASE!

I can confirm all four! I tried copying the Nerd3D link and pasting, I tried right-clicking on the link and opening in another tab, and I tried just clicking it. It worked all three ways for me. *shrug* What do you use for anti-malware? Maybe you need to try another one. None of them catch everything, unfortunately.

Dana, are you implying that I am somehow contaminated?

It just so happens that I have such a powerful computer that it's gone beyond the IE threshold, beyond singularity, and no longer needs me to tell it what to do.

It's quite obvious that now it's decided it can go where it pleases and do what it wants, and as a result, has somehow got me banned from two websites. God only knows what it gets up to wandering around on its own in Pornland, but my spam has taken on a rather bold personal tone lately. Offers of rubber that have nothing to do with car tires. That sort of thing.

At any rate, I thank you for checking the mystery links and gaining entry into this month's contest for the forest tart.

One more thing ,,, am I MISSING out on anything special at Nerd3D, besides, you know, the odd cigarette?

    Thank you Dana :)

Dorsey.. I bet we can exchange stories of bugs, toads and snails (I didnt go near snakes.. those are yucky)

Hah.. some nice props are there, like river bank kit, but do not think anything spectacular IMHO.

Oh Yeah, forgot to mention, I'm still crazy, but now older :P

Bugs are full of frightening surprises, toads pee in your hand when you pick them up, and snails are slime machines.

Snakes, on the other hand, are sublime, almost as good as spiders.

We obviously hung around in different woods.

    You ever eat a slug?

I have a mouse but my computer says I'm no longer smart enough for it.

Krissy, your "Crazy Young Krissy" was suffering from cracked shoulder, bless her. Not a criticism, but it's a problem easily fixed on V4 and A4 with a one-click shoulder smoother made by Will Dupré. I use it all the time.

Problem is that my zip file says it came from a "BeamMeUp DAZ blog", and I no longer recall what that is or was. Anybody else remember?

Unfortunately I've never solved the riddle of the cracked elbow.

The V4 shoulder fix was part of the 2008 DAZ PA's 24 Days of Christmas give-away and is; unfortunately; no longer downloadable.

Thanks, B-Man. Bummer for those that didn't get it, cause that thing works like a charm. I wish there was one for the elbows too.

    And the bum.

    Free, of course!

Maybe I should go check at Nerd3D ...

I fear for the little cat. Is the fat cat hungry? :gulp:
