Ah, there it is! I swear to God, one of these days I'll open my eyes!
Thanks for that.
Peeps, I need help with Apollo. I am running Poser Pro 2014 and he loads just fine into the Pose Room and renders beautifully--except for one thing, and that is, he's blind in the right eye! I cannot figure out how to fix this. I've applied a white MAT pose to remove all of the base textures and then re-applied them, only for the same problem to occur again. I've gone into the Material Room to try and figure how what's going on, but haven't thus far been able to determine what the issue is. Can any of you give me a virtual hand with this? Many thanks in advance. I'm posting a screenshot so you can see what I'm talking about here......
Hmmm. I'm only guessing, here, but if I were you, I'd go into the Surfaces tab and compare all the surface settings for the right eye to those for the left. Normally they should be the same. If not, try changing the settings for the right eye to match those of the left.
SixDs, thank you for the advice, but unfortunately it won't work because I'm using Poser Pro 2014, not DAZ Studio. Apollo's geometry is such that you can't select the eyes individually in the Material Room. You can only select the individual parts of the eyes themselves (pupil, cornea. eye white and iris). I'm going to have to look at each part in the Material Room and see where the problem is, but so far I'm not seeing it.....
Where is the lighting positioned? Do you get the same thing on the other eye if you move the lights to the other side?
Fixmypcmike, someone else had the exact same problem with Apollo's default textures and none of the third party ones. She said that she was able to correct the issue by running Snarlygribbly's EZSkin V2 and it took care of it. Sooo, that's what I'm gonna try next. Keep your fingers crossed, and thank you!
By the way, do any of you know where some of the older AM addons can be located online? I've found links but the majority of them have disappeared into the Bermuda Triangle of cyberspace :( If you know of any active links, I'd sure appreciate it if you could post them in this thread. Thank you!
I'm not sure which older addons you mean, but Google can be your friend... for what it's worth. I found a bunch of stuff just searching for "free apollo maximus" (leave off the quotes), on the first and second pages alone. I hope that helps. Perhaps you might be more specific about which ones you're seeking.

Capsces Cole Morphs (Just below the Cookie poses for the train)
http://www.capsces.com/otherfreebies.htm
But does that Cole RTE sync to an old product, or to the current base figure?
Well that is a good question since I have Apollo 2007 and bought the Cole by Capsces and the readme is dated 2005. I did find this link to a forum thread about Apollo however of people asking about what works with what version and please keep in mind it's from 2007
http://forum.runtimedna.com/showthread.php?27943-Apollo-Maximus-products
I can not find Capsces at RDNA, Content Paradise or Renderosity. You could try her at her site, but beyond that I have no idea how to read her.
Ok this is long and read carefully as it answers your questions regarding the two versions...
Questions relating to the Cole Morph Package, by Capsces, for Apollo Maximus
Question: What is Cole? Where do I get him? Does he work with Apollo Maximus 2007? How do I install the update.
Answer: Cole is a commercial Morph package for the original Apollo Maximus 2005/2006 Poser figure product. It is the original cr2 with additional morphs. This product by itself is not compatible with the new features, morphs, or scaling dials available in Apollo Maximus 2007. The original Cole Poser cr2 file lacks the new data available in the new Apollo Poser cr2 file.
However, the creator of Cole, Capsces (Beth), has released a free Poser cr2 update for Apollo Maximus 2007. This free update download is encoded using a Poser utility called RTE Encoder. To use this free cr2 update download, you must first purchase the original Cole 2005 package from RuntimeDNA.com
This product still functions within Poser but simply recreates the older Apollo Poser figure cr2, now out of date. This Poser cr2 package is not optimized for Daz Studio, by Daz3d, without the free update described below.
The following is a post by Beth, in her own words, at Content Paradise: LINK DOES NOT WORK, SUGGEST GOING THERE TO FIND HER
"Thought I'd make an official post on this, as several folks seem to be having difficulty finding the information. Will get this up on my website as soon as time permits. Usually wait until I have several things to put up there.
The cr2 containing both Apollo 2007 enhancements and Cole morphs can be found at the link below.
http://www.capsces.com/cdifreebies/CDICole2007cr2.rte DO NOT CLICK THIS AS IT'S NOT FUNCTIONING CORRECTLY
Instead go here https://web.archive.org/web/20070901000000*/http://www.capsces.com/cdifreebies/CDICole2007cr2.rte
Before the file can be unzipped, CDICole2007.rte must be decoded using RTEncoder available at http://www.rtencoder.com. RTEJava is available for use on Machintosh and can be found at http://www.geocities.com/RTEJava/alpha/index.html. The following steps are for decoding with RTEncoder:
1. Open RTEncoder and click the Decode button.
2. Click File to Decode, browse to where you downloded CDICole2007cr2.rte. Select the file and click Open.
3. Click Key File, browse to your Poser\Runtime\libraries\character\CDI Cole\ folder. Select All Files from the Files of Type drop down. Select Cole.cr2 and click Open.
4. Click Save As and save the CDICole2007cr2.zip to a folder of your choosing, such as the folder you downloaded to. Close RTEncoder.
5. Browse to the save location of the CDICole2007cr2.zip file, and install as follows:
Unzip CDICole2007cr2.zip to your Poser folder with the option to restore paths or an equivalent option provided by your Zip program.
Important Notes
As the face and body shaping poses are not updated, settings for the new morphs included with Apollo 2007 are not in them, and will not be zeroed when the poses are applied. This does not keep the poses from functioning as they were intended. If you want the result in the Cole pose icon, and new Apollo morphs have been adjusted, simply restore the head or figure by selecting Edit/Restore/Element or Figure from the Menu Bar. Note: restoring will restore more than just morphs (like rotations), so it is best to attain the look (morphs) you want before progressing. The Restore All, Restore Head, and Zero Body Moprhs that come with the original Cole will not work for this. They will only zero all original Apollo and Cole morphs, not the new Apollo morphs.
Clothing morphs are available from my site to fit the original Cole and Apollo morphs, and will work with all Cole body shaping poses as originally intended. However, the clothes will not work with the new Apollo morphs. In Poser 4 Pro (probably P4 too) and DAZ Studio (I think. Didn't test much), clothing containing Cole's morphs should work as intended, meaning morphs should apply automatically. In Poser 5, Poser 6, and Poser 7, after applying a body shaping pose, it will be necessary to select Apollo's ADS-BodyDials from the element list, copy, select the Body of each clothing figure and paste to fit them to Cole 2007.
Please note that the original Cole.cr2 will work as intended if you only have the new version of Apollo. It just does not make use of any of Apollo's new morphs. Most of Carodan's and Lee's characters will probably work with it as well. Any created using new Apollo morphs will require the Cole 2007 cr2.
For DAZ Studio users, there is a download on my site that updates Cole's body shaping poses, as they had some problem. They should go in the CDI Cole subcategory of the Pose libray, and be prefixed with DS."

For best response and tech support concerning future Cole 2007 rte, Cole 2007 update and Cole 2007 installation questions can go to Beth (Capsces) at RuntimeDNA's Product Support Forum.
The RDNA link goes to their 404 page.
Then I would suggest contacting her as I still have my download due to having bought it before it was removed from their store.
Thank you for these!
Question- do the files include the celeb. morph packs as well?
Unfortunately not, because I either didn't download them or can't find them. If soemone has them, I could add them to the collection...
PS: Apollo (along with other Poser stuff such as with SnarlyGribbly's scripts, Dr. Geeps Tutorials and JoePublic's Weightmapped Generation 3 figures), can also be gotten Here (same files as I put up):

I have all the files on disk from back in 2007. Daz didn't play well with it back then. Guess i am going to have to find which disk it is on now.

Since Anton's site does not respond can anyone supply the password?
It looks like the site is completely down.
You can get the password on the page on the Internet Archive:
http://web.archive.org/web/20150406093853/http://www.antonkisieldesigns.com/~akfiles/htmlpages/ApolloMaximusFree3dhumanfigure.htm
The provider says that Anton's site is temporarily down, but if it doesn't come back, I'll add the password to the text document on the Google Drive...
WandW, Thank you very much for making these files available to us. Your efforts are much appreciated by myself and I am sure many many others feel the same way.
I got the page to open with password but the downloads at DivShare doesn't work. It's the main parts and the downloads at bottom of page. Are there any other links?
