Can I render anything with Macbook Pro 2017 (no Nvidia)

Hi!  Newbie here at my wits end!  please help :)  I have a new macbook pro 2017.  Its video card is AMD Radeon Pro 450, not Nvidia.  Does this mean I can't use Daz3d studio because without an Nvidea card rendering is impossible?  My goal is to create photorealistic images to use for bookcovers (no animation but photorealism is important). I can't figure out whether I should continiue searching for the right setting / software / driver or accept that I can't use Daz3D for what I want with my computer.

Please point me in the right direction!  thank you so much. -Alex

PS I tried rendering must using default and it came out all really dark like this:

N0, all it means is that you won't be able to use GPU accelerated rendering.  It will render in CPU mode only.

Not knowing the details of the render...lights/etc, it is hard to say why it is so dark, but it looks like a typical underlit render and nothing else.
