G8M eyes
Newbie here.
I'm sure this has been asked before ...
How do I get the G8M eyes to work in rendering? Always seems that the iris/pupil comes out white and the rest of the eyeball black. Looks fine in the workspace, G8F seems to work fine out of the box.

I don't have that problem with any of my G8 skins (though they are only from the M8 pack). Which character/skin are you using? Did you change the eye colour to another one from the skin set?
EDIT: Also, are you rendering in Iray or 3Delight? Is he skin set you applied for Iray or 3Delight?
OK, well, now you've got me. That's something "beyond my pay grade" at this point as I'm just dipping into this technology (my expertise has been in video production systems, not 3D animation).
In fooling around with a variety of settings, presets and such, found that I can load in eyes from G3M (I think) and now I'm just seeing the iris white, whereas the rest of the eyeball is normal.
BUT, this is just for the default G8M figure, loaded right from the figures menu. The G8F works just fine, once again, right from the menu without any modifications.
Update: After more fooling around I tried loading in the Eddie skin and that worked. Eyes are coming out completly normally now. I guess the G8F generic figure skin already had that in there.
