Little Family is up! Available @ ShareCG and [url= http://semicharm.deviantart.com/art/Little-Family-423562032]DeviantArt
And as a special note, I've made this set available as a merchant resource.
Basically, as long as you do something with it, not just repost it and claim it as your own, it's fine by me.
And as with all of my freebies, the original archive can be posed on other free sites as long as it's FREE and I'm created as the creator. And of course, donations are always appreciated.
While working on the Summer Sun set, I'd created some new textures in GIMP. For instance, the shoes didn't use any textures or photos. 100% "photoshop". (err GIMPed?) I think the mesh material turned out so well, I've decided to release it too. Not only that, but I remade it to make it fully colorable and tileable.
Available now @ ShareCG & DeviantArt as a merchant resource too.
Noticed that I overlooked a file that I was going to include in Little Family, a dial grouping utility pose for Little One. The face and body dials are poorly organized, which made working with her a little tedious at times. I got around to making the pose file, white helped considerably, but I forgot to make a thumbnail for it before Little Family was posed. I'll try to post it separately.
While working on Little Family, I was also testing a few other things I wanted to release with Summer Sun, but I didn't get them finished in time. When I get them sorted out, I'll post them as an addon set.
I'd also been working out the problems with some of the clothing refits I did for Little Miki2, but the original fits from CrossDresser3 didn't come out as well I'd hoped. There's a few other possibilities I'm exploring. This one looks particularly promising.
Looks like some of the Ultimate Morphs sets are marked down. I was going to hold off till my characters updates were done, but my DS4 compatibly sets for Miki2 and the G2 ladies were about finished anyway. The PMDs are working fine, and I hopefully fixed the deformer settings, just have to work out the bugs in the scripts someone made to patch the mesh seam issues in DS. The scripts work in DS3, but they run in DS4.6 about 8x faster!
There's some other DS features that haven't been finished yet, such as PowerPose. I might do them later if there's any demand for them. PowerPose didn't work properly in DS3, only would work with 1 of the 5 toes. Never got around to testing it in DS4.
Just got the documentation done. I'll try to get this packaged and posted in the morning.
Cool! Looking forward to them. :)
BTW, all of the Ultimate Morph sets are 85% off right now...
The PMD setup and patch files are on ShareCG now. Just run the required patches once and they're ready to go. The setup files will be in the figure folder in your Poser runtime.

The geometry patch posted on sharecg got pulled down for "Missing a presentation image." I'll try to get it back up soon.
Got the patch put back up, with an image.
Posted an update to Little Family. If you downloaded this before April 11, please download it again. There was a script error in Poser 9 that's fixed now. While I was at it, I added the GroupDial pose that I forgot to include in the original set.

Again, I apologize for the long absence. I’ve been trying to finish another project that’s related to Maeko for months. Progress has been much slower than planed. On the upside, I’m finishing yet another related project, a set of royalty free eye textures for Miki2, 3 & 4! I plan to eventually make a version for Victoria 4 and perhaps others as well.
The only catch is that one of the source images is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0. I've tried for a long time to find a suitable replacement for that image, but came up empty. In the mean time, I did manage to find other source images that could be used with it so I'm finally able to release the set. I think it'll be worth the wait. In short, you will be able to use them for a free or commercial render, as part of a free or commercial texture set, or even as part of a merchant resource. Creative Commons makes allowances for for "fair use", so I'll grant renders as such.
However, because of the "share alike" part, any modified versions of the eye textures must also be made freely available under a compatible Creative Commons license. So, you can technically reuse or even sell them as part of a texture set, as long as any derivatives you create from the eye textures are also made available as a freebie. That should be sufficient to satisfy the "share alike" requirement.
And as for the "attribution" part, I'm not a stickler when it comes to renders. I know it's not always easy for commercial artist to credit their sources, and sometimes don't even get attribution for their own work, so I'd simply be happy just to know that someone found it useful. Attribution, however, will be required for texture sets. I don't think that's too much to ask. Besides, even if you don't modify the textures, you'd still be bound by the "share alike" license. However, if you merely reuse them as is in your own set, I don't see the point in creating a new freebie with the same files just to satisfy the license. Posting mine, or at least pointing people back to my post should suffice.
Back again, with an actual update! I noticed the Ultimate Morphs sets went on sale again and realized that I hadn't got my characters done. :red: Luckily I managed to get some time over the weekend break to put in some serious testing. It seems that everything I'd fix one thing I'd find another issue somewhere. It's getting pretty close to a solid release now.
Good to see you back! :)
Thanks WandW!
Getting closer to finishing Mikiko (updated Little Miki 2) as well. Found an odd issue while setting up this render. (The best way to test is to actually use something yourself) I'll have to chase down that bug later, as I wanted to actually finish the render first.
No bug now. Must have buggered something up when I setup the scene. Oh well, back to work!
Another pic for Mikiko
What outfit is that? It's very cute.
It's a matchup of different sets. The top is from "Turtleneck & Miniskirt" by Idler168. The tights are from "Clothing Assembly", also by Idler168. The skirt is PoserWorld's "Pleated" and shoes are Headkase's "Sensible Shoes 2.0". (Yes, I do try to keep track of this stuff ;-)) Also used a shader to match the sock color to the other items. I had someone run them through Morphing Clothes to the fit her morphs. Still had to touch up the top with the morphing tool in Poser.
G2 Girls for G2 Sydney, Jessi & Olivia are finally out. They're up on my profiles on ShareCG and DeviantArt.

I would have had them up yesterday, but I had to track down the items I used for the other promo pics I did.
Mikiko for Miki2 is up! Fixed a few typos in the readme for G2 Girls as well. (I'm sure I missed more...)
You can find her on my ShareCG and DeviantArt pages.

Someone had pointed out that my "Mesh Texture Set" had a compatibility issue with older versions of Photophop. I fixed that and put out an update. The Photoshop version is now compatible with (at least) CS2 and above.

http://semicharm.deviantart.com/art/Mesh-Texture-Set-colorable-texture-resource-1-1-423667382
The problem was that when I ported it from GIMP to Photoshop I forgot that older versions didn't have a "subtract" blend mode like GIMP does. I found a workaround that will get the older versions to do the proper math for the "subtract" blend. ("Difference" blend is rather useless in this respect). Simply sandwich the layer(s) you intend to subtract with an "Invert" layer above and below on the Layers tab, then set the blend mode of the layer(s) you wish to subtract to "Linear Dodge (Add)". It basically does the same thing, but in reverse, so you have to invert the image to match the "add" blend then invert it back again afterward. Screwy, but it works. ;)
Due to unexpected delays (BTW thanks Daz) I didn't get this out by Christmas, but here it is.
Night Slayer: Santa Baby
Turn EvilInnocence's innocent Candy Cane Elf outfit into a jumpsuit or top that can be paired with his other Night Slayers.

Forgot to mention that the Candy Cane Elf outfit has versions for Victoria 4, Dawn and Cookie. Santa Baby should work with all of them, but there's an error in the Cookie version. I notified EI about it, but he never got back to me.
