noob trying to reset timeline

Hi all!

I have tried animating a small scene for the first time and have
come across a problem I can't solve. Hopefully someone else
can. (I'll try to formulate the problem as best I can...)

I have created a small (24 frames) scene with some movement
and looped it. Now I want to freeze the loop at frame 12 and
reset all the other frames, so that frame 12 is the only frame
with any posing data. Finally I want my frame 12 to be my
next frame 1.
When I try this I always get some spill left on the timeline
(probably some keyframes that mess up the stillness). Does
anyone know what I'm talking about and how to fix it? I'd
be grateful for any tips or tricks.

Well, there is something to select to clear the timeline.

For starting at a number into the line though, you can set the render to work between different numbers.

Maybe what it started as: 0-30

Changed to something like this: 12-30

Thanks for your reply. I think I solved it in a kind of roundabout way.
I saved the poses I wanted to keep as presets and loaded an older
version. Then I merged the characters with the presets and that
seemed to do the trick.
