  • We need a new astronaught suit, haven’t had a good one since Michael 4, it’s long overdue bro, keep it up 

  • Guys I'm not saying the female one won't ever be done but after spending so much time doing this guy my inspiration for skeletons is wearing thin. Just a bit of general info the poly count is 190K. I do have a low res skeleton that gets cut down to 18K this is for use with big scenes where you have a lot of them to render, like if you used the UltraScatter plugin. It comes with 17 bone pile morphs and a physics base animated morph where it collapses and falls to the ground, it's base on the G3M skeleton, but that's a little down the track but pretty close. I also have an astronaut suit in progress, modeling is done but the rigging is a nightmare and it's 50/50 if I go on with that. Plus a moon 360 series, maps are going up tp 16K on those so rending will take forever. So my plate is full for now being a one man band, everything takes time and I fit in what I can, It's no walk in the park being a fulltime vendor. Thanks everyone one for all your comment they really do help keep me going. And the Midnight Skeleton should be just around the corner ;)

    The old white space suits are designed to be stiff, which is why I suggested doing a more modern NASA Mars version one cause it would be easier to rig, but too late can’t turn back now, Here is some inspiration for you :)

    I think the suit is on death row at the moment, so the skeleton seems appropriate, I'm down to doing a hybrid rig which blends 2 different weight map systems:(

    The low res Skeleton will be a separate product, had a lot of fun with physics on that one. Here's a look at some of the morphs the guy standing up is the Midnight Skeleton 190K and the one's on the ground are 18K so it held up pretty well after decimation. I do want to add to it, with 10 poses set with it being impaled on a large wooden spike.

    Had to laugh at the female skeleton growing breasts. I bet that was a bit of a shock. I will find plenty of uses for this (the male, not the female lol). Bone piles are always good as well.

    JFK is rolling in his grave right now, What are characters going to wear on your new moon set, skimpware, it’s.a sad day when we can send humans to the moon and robots to mars but can’t recreate a space suit in 3D :( I never should’ve suggested it in the first place

    Lock the translations on the feet to zero.  That's what's done on V4 and M4, as poses created with IK on can cause this.

    Love it! I want it all. But no bundle or discount for buying it all? :( This leaves me choosing between the G3 and the G8 versions. Gah. Decisions decisions ...

    Looks really great. Sorry to hear you are struggling so much with the suit. As this suit appears to be such a sought after item, have you considered seeking help from, or maybe collaboratiing with, another vendor?
     As others have said, we haven't had a proper skeleton or astronaut suit since generation 4. The suit is a great change from skimpy, skintight spacewear.

     As others have said, we haven't had a proper skeleton or astronaut suit since generation 4. The suit is a great change from skimpy, skintight spacewear.

    I don't give up easily so even if I have to come back to it, I'll keep at it and find away  !

    That looks fantastic!  Midnight Skeleton (G8) is in my cart right now, just deciding what to buy with it!  smiley  I so wish the low-res skeleton was available right now as I have need for it in some promos!  

    You should have marketing or whoever correct the Anatomy Pack verbiage.  Unlike with the wings product, there is no text that it supports your G8 version until you read the What's Included (and in fact, it states it requires the G3 version)

    Thanks I found I made a basic mistake and that was I forgot the suit is so far away from the body that in the cruch area it was 3-4 inches too far down so there was noway it was going to work like that, so pulled it up and starting again. At least I have a better chance now!

    Asking here, because for some reason, my question has been overlooked twice in the commons thread...

    Just to clarify... when you write "the tail fits any figure with a pelvis bone", that means I can load it to G2, for example, without having to go through fitting(which would then lose me all bones, literally! cheeky)?

    Have had a lot of fun with the Genesis 3 skeleton and its two expansions! Experimented with hair and it actually conforms really well, as does facial hair. A skeletal Santa Claus was totally possible to create! This definitely ups the value from purely horror/fantasy-themed renders to comical ones, too. :) The various G3 zombie/vampire poses work really well and wet and zombie-themed hair make this look excellent for rising out of a swamp.

    The only slight desire is for the skull to be elongated vertically, as well as just horizontally, so as to create a representation of the famous 'Starchild' skull's skeleton. Though I definitely have a use for the horizontal elongation, so, I'm glad that's in there, regardless!

    Seriously great stuff. Maybe a future expansion for creating bloody appearances on the bones and tail/wings, too, like the Iray update for the 'Them Bones' product recently gave? I'd suggest black, too, to allow for skeletons which look like they're victims of volcanic explosions, but that might possibly be attainable through some existing shader products.

    I'd also like to see a female skeleton which can have G3F clothing on it. Skirts seem to be fine on here, but I was hoping to create some skeletal cheerleaders and female tops seem to intersect right through the shoulder blades. Female hair and pom-pom props seem to be fine, though! Is it possible to parent it to a G3 figure (or parent the G3 figure to it), then pose them both and make the G3 figure invisible, so as to create the illusion of G3F clothing on it?

    if it uses the DAZ rigging it probably includes the typos that crash Carrara which Misty fixed in her CarraraActors duf file.

    your an Aussie too cool nice to know there are a few pa/creators from here btw just getting this now used up net allowance so down to dial up speed but had to grab this g3 version and addons kinda birthday present to myself on the 18th

    Looking thought the comment I haven't replied back to you sorry!

    The 'Starchild' skull's skeleton yes know that one I did do the alien skull going out the back why I didn't go up is because the the expression and horns they go a crazy. The textures are all auto generated in substance painter that took some time to do. The hair fits should work better if you apply the G3M Fit morph in the shapes tab. The female version well I'm all boned out at the moment, still got the lowres version to complete. If you wanted to make the cheerleader I would fit the clothes to G3M as it has the projection template the skeletion has none. then apply the G3F morph to the male and conform the skeleton to the male and turn off G3M. The bones will look a bit wonky as the grow breasts whenyou put the female shape on.

  • as said my internet allowance has run out for the month so down to dial up speed 200 gb don't go far now days but it'll reset 25th tried to download install but kept getting failed so may not get to play with all this till around Wednesday. Got the wear them all plugins so that should make most stuff including female clothes work fit better on him shouldn't it? As you said had bit of trouble there. This would've had to have been pretty hard to create to get right I would think getting right being a proper accurate skeleton with all the bones accurate lot hard than say a fantasy creature and more time consuming
