Dragon Priincess Gown Problem

Guys,

I have a problem posing with this gown. No matter how much I fiddle with the adjustment morphs, I can't get the sleeves to hang anything like naturally in anything other than the arms out "T" pose.

Am I missing something obvious?

Cheers,

Alex.

It's a tricky one with those sleeves. You could use the D-Form tool to arrange them into a better position, but sadly the movement morphs it includes don't have enough flexibility for every pose.

I decided to put this one to one side for a week or so and then returned to it this afternoon. After much fiddling, I achieved the results shown in the photo below.

On the genesis figure, I set the arms up / down parameter to -0.82.

The right shoulder was set to twist 20, front-back -3.13 and bend to 58. The right forearm was set to twist 12 and bend -11.

the left shoulder was set to twist 20, front-back 3.2 and bend to -58. The left forearm was set to twist 12 and bend 11.

On the dress itself, I set left sleeve down 2 and right sleeve down 2 to 40%.

The results aren't perfect but they're a huge improvement on my early attempts.

I'm still trying to figure out how to conform clothing. Great job, looks perfect to me :-)
