Hi,

I'm following the steps in the stickie:

http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/19194/

I've arrived at the instruction:

----------------------------------------
1. Click the “My Account” link at the top of the web page.
2. On the menu on the left side of the screen, click “My Downloadable Products.”
-----------------------------------------

There's no "My Downloadable Products" at the left of the screen. There's a horizontal navigation bar. I've clicked every link in the bar.

I can see the serial number of my software, but there's nothing to click for downloading.

Please advise.

If you clicked every link then you probably landed on the 'Product Library' link which houses all of your purchases. You have to add Daz Studio to your cart and 'purchase' it before it becomes available and appears on the list. It's free, but it still needs to be added as any other item would.

I am sorry you are having problems. Daz 3D changed the system very, very recently and the Guy who made that tutorial on the Sticky thread hasn't had time to catch up yet. You have to remember that the CV team are volunteers, they ar foum members just like you, who give their own time to help you.

There is no longer a "Donwloadable Products button. You need to look at the top of the screen and go to "Product Library" If you then click on "Purchase Date" you will get a list of your products by date. If you have more than one page you need to double click on it and it will reverse the list, giving you the lates products first. Clicking on the item in question will give you the download links.

    I hope that helps

    Thanks for your kind response.

Before posting, I already "purchased" the free software. That's how I knew the serial number (same as the order number).

I looked in Product Library. I think the format is different from what you can see. It's a list of software:

    3D Bridge for Photoshop
    Content Creator Toolkit (CCT)
    DAZ Studio 4 Advanced
    DAZ Studio 4.0
    DAZ Studio 4.5 Pro
    Genesis Starter Essentials
    GoZ for DAZ Studio

So I just clicked on the DS 4.5 Pro link and got about 20 different choices depending on OS. Everything is now installed, and I'm looking at a nice pair of legs.

    Thanks for your help :)

Don't forget you also need to download and install the Genesis Starter Essentials.

You won't need to download the Photoshop Bridge or the GoZ plugin, unless you also have Both the required version of Photshop and GoZ program. THe plugins only work if you already have those 2 purchases. which are not DAZ 3D programs

No problem. @HeraldOfFire has already helped me out :)

    >> ...go to "Product Library" If you then click on "Purchase Date" you will get a list of your products by date.

Nope. Even that has changed (see my previous post). But don't worry - everything's fine.

I'm now going to to check whether Daz is easier to learn than the Poser 9 trial. I got to video number 138 out of 322, then stopped for a rest. (I still haven't produced anything.)

That's when I saw the Daz link :)
