Studio Iray Pro Lights - is there a key?

I have Studio Iray Pro Light, but I can't for the life of me figure out what the light symbols (blue box? yellow circle?) mean to predict what a set up will look like.  I also don't understand the difference between the "light setup" and the "render setting" choices as they look exactly the same... there is an icon that says "load legend" but i can't find what legend its loading and where to find it.  Help? :)

    It's the type of light being simulated.

    As for the legend - when you click on the symbol, check the scene tab. In your image it is at the bottom of the listing. You can click it open and it will list the types of lights.
