Item compatibility?

I was hoping to get a little guidance/confirmation about this product before I bought it.

I use Gen 3 characters and havne't yet experimented with any Gen 8 models. Would this product be reasonable compatible? I understand there are always adjustments that may have to be made, I just didn't want to buy it if there was something very different about the Gen 8's which made auto-follow less active. Great return policy at Daz but I hate having to use it and sounding like a complainer.

*Edit) Just to be clear I didn't mean I was looking for feedback experiance with this particular item. I guess my base question is "Gen 8 wearables on Gen 3, is it sketchy or pretty reliable?"

If (big if) I remember, Genesis 3 items are forward compatible but Genesis 8 items do not generally do very well backwards compatible. But, I would wait and see if someone who knows better shows up to verify that before making up your mind.

I got impatient and went ahead and bought the product. It does NOT work well at all. No reflection on the product of course. When I attempt to load it onto the character, it asks me if the item is meant for a G3M or G2F. I tried different combinations there and all of them loaded the product "off" the character. So that mystery is solved. I don't think I'll return it since I'm sure it's inevitable that I'll start working with Gen 8 eventually. I just have to much invested in Gen3 at the moment to abandon it. Oh well, that's Daz Life. Can't win'em all.
