Constant Problems With Posting On Forum

Every time I try to post on the forum I have problems. Either the page refreshes displaying an empty message box, it asks for a password or some other annoying problem. Has anyone else experienced this? I always have to save a copy of each post because nearly every time this happens and I have to try posting about three times before it takes. It's a real PITA. My browser is Google Chrome in case that's relevant.

You're not alone. It's been reported by other people, myself included. I'm not sure they know what's actually wrong with the forums at the moment, or whether it's isolated only to Chrome users. All we can really do is sit tight while they figure out where the issue is and hope that they can remedy it.

Clear your Browser cache, Log out of Daz before you do so and close Daz, then clear Cache.#

This is not a widespread thing, most people haven't experienced it since they did the magic a few days ago and cleared it up. THat time it was a generalised thing, so you may just still have something cached that is causing it for you, but not for oothers.

Well folks it seems its a streaming issue from the Cloud more that a Daz Issue. They are looking into it. But if its external of the Forum then not much can be done on the Daz side to help it.

EDIT: That's correct, Chohole is right. They did do a fix. And it has fixed the issue for most. I was one and I use Chrome. Works fine for me now.

DAZ_Jon has just said, in a thread about a different subject, that the JAVA update may have altered things on some people's set up, so is reccomending that those who are tec savvy enough check if they are getting any java errors throw up.

Just another idea, I am not tech savvy enough to know if Java could influence this as well, but I ran the latest Java update when prompted the other day and it hasn't affrected me.

since the Java update and me doing some cleaning like cache, cookies etc I haven't had a single issue using IE9 on the forums or Store alike.

So did I, and I got a little "you already have the latest update" popup. I haven't had that other problem, but I have been getting the occasional forum posting glitch. Hasn't happened (yet!) in the last day or two, though. Fingers crossed... (also arms, legs, eyes)

I had one java prompt which resulted in that message. Next Virus scan I ran my AV found what it called a "malware" in my Java folder. I told it to get rid of it, emptied my java cache and ran a bootscan as well to make sure there was nothing there. Next time I got a java update prompt pop up it ran fine as did the confirmation that the update had installed properly. my last virus scan was totally clear as was my malwarebytes scan.
