I am making a Character and their body looks all not the way I want it how can I reset the body and still keep the face?
Go to the top left of Studio and click on Edit (next to File) go down to figure then scroll down to Zero and then click on zero selected shapes. Make sure you have selected only the parts that you don't want to keep.
Assuming you mean shaping, which is all on the figure node, it may be simplest to save a Shaping preset and use the option dialogue to include only the head morphs, then reset the whole shape (Edit>Figure>Zero>Zero Figure Shape, for example), and fianlly reapply the saved preset.
I am making a Character and trying to figure out how to save the head of one morph and paste onto a new one.
Are they the same base figure (e.g. Genesis 3 Male) or different?
Thank you, how will I be able to save the preset with the shapes that I want?
File>Save as>Shaping Preset, then as I said use the Options dialogue that opens after setting the file name to choose whch properties to save.
Yes they are the same base figure.
Here's a couple threads: (I am not reading them, just linking them. There may be some overlap. Be sure and note the dates, and if in doubt, use the most recent.)

Thank you for the your advice.
One last thing, its not part of the discussion nonetheless, could someone help me understand the process of the Directory Structure I'm working on put a character and its shaders in the correct locations. Whereever I'm placing them Daz is reporting that the files don't exist or can't function.
You would usually save to a folder in /People/Genesis whichever/Characters in the content directory you were using. Maps would go in /Runtime/Textures/Some folder in the content directory (before being applied to the model).
