Spawned from an information request elsewhere in the forums are this set of images.
Desire was to film Genesis without a lot of wobble and to/froing.
Okay ... can post now, I'm loading the images into their slots ;-)
btw - read through all the images BEFORE following!
The 'camera test 3' that this all became is Here.

Continuing on ...
Animating is fun although time consuming. One can render to still images or .avi files. Work can then be compiled in a movie making program and burned to disk for watching on one's very own television :-)
You'll be glad to know I did skip a few images!
The toon Dodo used in the tutorial is sold at Daz3d. It's a cute little fella :-)
The pics are named with numbers so if they don't load correctly, hovering the mouse over them should show their numbered order.
edit: I've loaded this set several times, don't know why but they just aren't lining up in the correct order.
Something similar to this could also be used for animating dog walking.
Okay Jaderail, hope this helps.
Thank you Very much. I've been playing and I'm happy with the results so far.
You're quite welcome. Thanks for the feedback.
I resorted to a single post per image because I could not get the order right on the forum no matter how I tried.
I've found numbering them starting with some zeros helps. The post that has the pics mixed up jumped from a 02 series to 03. That might be what confused it. Putting names also confuses it. But then sometimes it seems to be sorting by size! Can't win 'em all ;-)
This works for me. One size for all Images and Numbered. That works 99% of the time, the 1% I can not figure out.
EDIT: My numbering Sys. 000, 001, and so on.
Wow. Nice tutorial Patience! :)
Love the blue!
I gotta tell ya though...
When you get into Carrara a little teensy weensy bit more, You're going to kick yourself (hopefully metaphorically - only!) for putting yourself through so much agony! lol
Wow... are D|S cameras really that much of a PITA? There MUST be an easier way! Don't be put out by me saying this. I'm being silly ol' me. I just never really animated in D|S further than creating custom aniBlocks. This short example is a simple no-brainer in Carrara. The backdrop was another story altogether. But I used the same camera to film the backdrop as I used to film the walk. In between I added lightning and rain in Project Dogwaffle: Howler.
Think I'll try adding another "0" next time around but I suspect there will be always that 1% that doesn't co-operate.
No cameras are not always this much work. This situation has something to do with Genesis.
The camera flips over though on pass by shots from the side, would have to use at least 2 or 3 cameras to make a line walk from the side view.
Apparently that has something to do with cameras hitting beziers [? sp].
Haven't tested it yet to see if it works in D/S4.5 but there is a free script enabling one to render a scene in one pass using 2 or more cameras!
My neighbour would love Rosie's hairspray! Her hair totally frizzes 'out' in a storm like that.
Which reminds me, I made another little toy for people to play with ... I'll go upload that now.

Yep to the Genesis thing. Can use V4 M4 all day with a smooth dolly camera. Must be the Node order.
