Model type question

Ok I see people get models free from different places one of them is http://archive3d.net/ . What I wanted to know is can they be used in daz & if so what kind do I download from places like this to use in daz.

    There are lots of free models on ShareCG for both DAZ Studio and Poser, both of which should work inside DS4.5 (figures created for Poser 9 or later will not work due to the different rigging)

    Have a look at the FIle > Import menu in DS4.5, and that will tell you what DS can Import, and use. A lot of freebies use the Wavefront OBJ format, and have an accompanying Material file, others use 3DS (which DS does not open).
