I bought this a few months ago and have been afraid to install it, i hoped that DIM would come to my rescue eventually but alas not yet.
As i am illiterate when it comes to doing things manually i really don't want to boo boo big time, so if anyone could help and tell me in the most basic terms how i get this to install i would be very grateful, thanks in advance.

It would help if you told use what LAMH is.

LAMH (I assume) is Look At My Hair, but it would also help to know if you're using a PC or Mac.

If Windows, just download the appropriate installer and run it. It will ask where you want to install it to. I just installed to the default location that was given (C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4). This is different from the place where your content is stored, because LAMH is a plug-in, not content.

After it finishes installing, check the manual here for instructions on how to activate it.

It is a plug-in, it won't appear in DIM. Go to My Account, Product Library, click Purchase Date button twice to get to latest purchases.

Followed instructions on a new clean DazStudio4.5 installation, activated without challenge!! Opened DS placed a Donkey in empty scene ready to attempt use of Look At My Hair and FATAL ERROR MESSAGE came up lol hilarious really, i filed a bug report as requested. Windows 7 OS 64bit i also downloaded the free player but decided to wait before attempting to install that not sure of my next move.

A few months ago, another user had a similar issue, and Kendall Sears (one of the creators of LAMH) responded this way:

    Hi

    Please help me.

When I try to begin "look at my hair" appears a message: fatal error. The attached photo shows a complete message.

    Thanks

Thank you Scott from what i can gather it is possibly the drivers on this laptop which uses intel graphics (i have been reading up on issues) and as i don't have issues with any other programs i use on this laptop i am inclined not to alter them, i will be trying LAMH on a different laptop samsung with nvidia card to see if there are any issues and if i still have problems then i will send an email. Thanks again much appreciated, still don't want to close thread until resolved ;)
