Am I seeing things or are Quinton and Vincent almost identical? Aside from Vincent's vampire eyes and teeth his skin and head morph look exactly like Quinton to me. He's a bit skinner body wise but dang. They are pretty close. Or is it just me?

@zombietaggerung I'd say they are similar but not the same.  The eyebrows appear identical, but the faces do not (to me).  Quinton has much more hollowed out cheeks, more pronounced high cheekbones and a wider jaw.  Their noses are very very similar but Quinton's might be a tad larger with a bit more of a bump.  Vincent also has a cleft chin, which Quinton does not appear to have (but might at a different angle).  They definitely could be brothers.  I have both of them, but if they'd both come out at the same time, and I'd seen your comment, I might have just gotten just Vincent because I can't unsee the similarity now!

Have a great time at the party @Novica, and best wishes to your mom.

All right I'm glad it's not just me. I have Quinton since I bought the M8 pro bundle, and I was eying Vincent, but he seemed so familiar that I had a moment where I thought the store was broken and shoing me something I already owned.

  • FW puts out a character roughly every four days. They're heavily based off the same merchant resource to the point you can find the same error in the male groin area. It's not just you.

are their female characters like that too? I don't think I own any of their girls.

Yes. But a different base resource. I mostly pick up any distinctive morphs if they're on a really good sale.

It is funny I must have every FW male character and can easily tell them apart but I wouldn't be able to tell a Thorne character from another Thorne character if my life depended on it!

I have never seen what a lot of folks say they see when it comes to characters, to be honest. And after doing a few of my own from scratch, as it were, I find it can be hard to tell how much different they are unless you actually overlay one on another.

That must make it doubly hard to try to work on your own unique characters. Kudos.

Good morning- won't be online today. Mom's party is at 4pm. I kept watching the map last night as the "blue" area kept moving down, and sure enough, at 2:30am to 4am I enjoyed watching the SNOW swirling in the street light and accumulating on my truck!  I heard a pathetic "meeewwww" and Shadow, the stray cat I've fed for 4 years, was behind me on the sidewalk, so I think he came out of his heated tent (remember I put a heavy quilt over two huge potted plants, thereby making a tent. Then a stay-on heated pad over lambswool, for a heated bed.)  I put more canned food in the tent and went back inside because he won't stay in the tent if anyone is near.

    Brrr, it's cold and windy!

You are a sweetie! You've got some massive karma building. ;)

I'm kind of disappointed that this new version of studio has changed the location of certain command on the menus. Zero figure pose is gone under the figure option. I use that one a lot. Yeah, I know I can make a script to do it, but why remove it?

Aw, man! I use that all the time!!! Ugh...

I wonder if there's a way to dock the Zero edit submenu somewhere else... Excuse me if I say "phooey!" (I'll be mature later.)

There is no reason to remove it. It was useful and available whichever View you were in. Now it is only available in pose mode under the hamburger menu.

I still see Edit>Figure>Zero>Zero Figure Pose in the Beta version. Have you run the Update and Merge Menus command on the Workspace menu as recommended?

I did that once already the last update. Do I have to do that every update? That seems...kludgy

Giovanni  (Gen3 / 8 Males)      Cool Style Outfit (Gen8M)      Cool Style Outfit Textures        Classic Side Part Hair (Gen 3/ 8)

It's really nice to see the vendors doing Genesis 3 and 8. Giovanni is for both generations, and the Classic Side Part Hair is also both generations, AND both genders.  I did add a blue tint to the sclera as it was rendering a bit yellow, I think it was the lights. One thing you'll really like about Giovanni is the three different sheen (skin gloss) options, and the different brows.

I know this may be an odd question - but where's that wonderful thread where someone (i want to say RGincy but nt sure) is doing great experiments with dForce and showing how to use it with things like blankets?

I never enter the site from the first page, so I normally don't see the artwork there. If you haven't lately, look at the changing main images. Love the frog hitching a ride on the big frog, with the raindrops!

That's my favorite too! I almost never look at the gallery so I would never have seen it otherwise.

Wow! That's amazing! Anyone know who created the picture?

Wow, that's just so cute! I check that page out from time-to-time, so I know that's a fairly recent changeover. I rather like the girl on the roadway, too. Though all of the images used are amazing.

Thought I'd have some fun with Giovanni and use the Growing Up for Genesis 8 Male(s)  and the 200 Plus Head and Face Morphs for Genesis 8 Male(s)   I'm just using the named head presets (such as Brian, Christopher, Damien) and didn't mess with sliders or making custom characters.

    Age9-10
