Dragon Princess Hair won't render
whenever I try to render a picture with a character using Dragon Princess Hair (http://www.daz3d.com/hair/long/dragon-princess) the render did stop during data export (see screenshot). It doesn't matter if I use 3dlight or LuxRender. If I remove the Hair the render works normal.
Does anyone know how to fix that problem?

I have been able to render using the hair, in 3Delight. try again, in 3Delight first, and immediately after the render fails open the log file (Help>Troubleshooting>View log) and scroll down to the end to see if there are any errors or warnings there.
Log = [2013-04-29 14:04:05 Severe error: 47] Parsing error in file 'C:/Users/.../Pictures/DAZ TESTS/ww0001c.lxs' at line 1: syntax error
I use the latest version v1.2.1 and the error only happens with Dragon Princess Hair
Line 1 in the LXS file should be scene information only, not mesh information so it sounds like an export error. Posting your render settings would help, also if you can post the first few lines of the LXS file in question. You can view this by loading up the file in any text editor.
It does not produce a .lxs file (maybe because it stops before).
I try several characters and now it works (don't ask me why) - but the original scene doesn't work (maybe there is an error within the scenefile).
But Dragon Princess Hair does produce another error - it can't be selected by its own (see screenshot) so it can't be deleted without deleting the whole scene.... even colors can be added only before adding any other thing (even figure) to the scene. If a character is loaded their appear an error "script can't be loaded"
Luxus introduces a lot of additional variables, let's see if we can get it working in 3Delight first.
after several houres of trying it works in 3Delight.
...but not in Lux... (same error) ...at last I managed to get an .lxs file but I can't open it in an text editior... or it is an empty file.
The hair and crown on a default Genesis rendered in Luxus for me, with the ebony texture set applied to the hair and the light set for the head piece. This was without any textures on Genesis, and using the default headlight for light.
the picture is the one that doesn't render in lux (this is a fast 3Delight render, that work now)
it's Genesis with Azumi Texture, Dragon Princess Hair Lava, Military TShirt SWAT, Military Pants UrbBlue Small Pattern, Boots Red
after deleting the scene and building it up from the gound (many times) suddenly it works in Lux, too.... (these are two test renders from Lux, one with lights and one without light - not rendered to the end)
I don't know why... I didn't change any thing on the render settings and didn't use any other item or texture.
thanks for the help
