Black Scene in Workspace

I have created several scene last night that all looked OK but when I have opened them again today the whole scene is black in the workspace. They render fine with everything set correctly but I cannot see anything in the scenes themselves when trying to work on them.
Can anyone hlep shed light on the issue?

Forgot to add, application is Daz Studio 4.5 Pro

    Do you see anything if you go to Window>Preview Lights? it's possible, if there are a lot of lights in the scene, that the ones active in the OpenGL preview are ones that don't provide general illumination.
