My M4 morphs won't load onto M4!

I just recently purchased, downloaded, & installed - M4 Morphs ++ and M4 Creature Creator Morphs. They show up just fine, but when I attempt to load them onto my M4 character nothing happens. I have installed them into the proper place or places, yet they don't seem function. I am an intermediate noob at 3d Modeling, but not so much that I wouldn't normally be able to figure this out myself. Still the solution to this particular equation continues to elude me. Frustratingly so... Please help. ANY insight would be most appreciated.
Thank you. :)

First question. Are you trying to put them on a Genesis M4 shape? If so that is the problem. They only work on the generation 4 M4 figure not the Genesis (generation 5) figure.
Which of the Morphs++ items are you trying to load?
When you load one of these items (or all of them), nothing will change on the figure, you have to go to the Parameters pane and adjust the slider yourself. Loading these items only supplies the necessary slider in Parameters for you to decide how much (or how little) of them you want.
As Jaderail says, these wont work on a Genesis figure of any kind, including the M4 shape for Genesis, it is only a morph of Genesis and NOT M4.
There's another gotcha — do you mean here the M4 character you got when you installed the figure, or a M4 character you've saved into your library? Newly installed morphs will only load into the original M4 — what's sometimes called a "pristine" character — since the final part of installation creates morph channels for you to load the morphs themselves into. Previously existing M4s weren't saved with these channels, so they can't take the new morphs.
Thank you everyone for the input, and insight. It is greatly appreciated. As for your inquiry as to whether or not I'm using an actual M4 or a Genesis M4, I'm using an actual M4 actor that I purchased here on DAZ. I'm not that much of a noob. Lol. I was just overlooking the Parameters tab in my haste to create the character. Silly me. Thank you again for your help folks!

:~( :~)
The other was what SpottedKitty mentioned, the "pristine character", a reference I've heard before. That's when it dawned on me. Duh...winning! Thanks again everyone! I love this forum.
