skin problems

hello. i'm using daz 4.5. i'm trying to do ambient occlusion but when i render the image the skin looks weird. sorry if this has been covered before but i don't know the name of this condition. fyi i used the uberenvironment2 base presets. thanks!

    Samples for the Uber Enviroment are to low. At default (8) your shadowing will look that way. Try one of the Quality presets (IF) UE2 came with any. I use UE which comes with 4.

    You need to increase the 'quality' setting for the UberEnv, either via a preset or manually adjusting the relevent dials (Occlusion Samples up, Shading Rate down, Max Error down). In addition adding another light to the scene will help.

    thank you! it worked. can i use the quality presets with other lighting?

    No they are made for UE. They tweak it's settings.
