Shaders
Hello;
I have worked with Poser Pro 2012 for quite an extensive period of time, and i was using the following shader/material package which in my opinion is very good, and i have had losts of fun with my renders using these materials.

Recently i decided to pick up Daz Studio again, which i have also worked with extensively in the past...only here is the thing...i have noticed that generally there are much more materials/shaders options available for Poser, then there are for Daz Studio. I have searched the entire Daz store for shaders for Daz Studio...and i have found a couple here and there...but no where near as much availability as there is for Poser.
My question really is...if there is a shader pack for Daz Studio as extensive as the one i have mentioned above?...
I find that when it comes to shaders, it seems that the possibilities for Poser are much more extensive. (notice i used the word, it seems )
Does any one happen to know if it is possible to match the quantity of shaders, like the ones of the D3D Material Collection...but to have the equal amount for Daz Studio...all in one package?...again...i find that Daz Studio is kind of limited, when it comes to shaders...compared to Poser that is.
By the way...any one feel free to proof me wrong. Maybe Daz Studio has hidden gems that i still dont know about!...if so...i would like to know how to untap its potential! ( referring to shaders of course )
Thanks for taking the time to read!
Have a nice day.

I typed the word 'shader' into the store search option, and it comes up with 535.

There are loads of them, wood, marble etc, and even hair shaders too. There are other people who make and sell DS shaderstoo, Calida springs to mind http://www.calida3d.com/FreeDazStudio.shtml but there are others too.
It is all down to documentation...Poser had always had good documentation whereas Daz Studio had very little...there is more on the Daz Wiki now but still a far cry from what Poser has.
Shader Mixer is very Powerful but not many can get the best out of it due to the lack of info. I would even go as far as it is better than Poser's Node system when in the right hands. Don't forget Renderman (3Delight) is an industry level render engine which speaks for itself but getting the best out if it is the hard part with very little documenttation.
There's a huge variety of shaders out there for DS...I don't think it's limited at all. I do think you are correct, though, in saying that there isn't a SINGLE package out there for DS that contains as much variety as the D3D one. If I had to pick the DS sets with the most variety, I'd say (in no particular order):
MachPack, Pimp My Prop, and other sets by Marieah
Supersuit Pro Bundle (or any of its subsets...the suit itself is awesome, but the shaders might be the best part of the package)
pw Shaders Bundle (keep in mind that if you own pwSurface2, you can take advantage of freebies like this: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/12984/ and this: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/10847/)
...to name a few.
DS itself comes with some shaders, including several that seem comparable to options found in the D3D set.
Lots of other good shaders out there, though...look up products by Khory, Eva1, AgeofArmour, DzFire, Draagonstorm, Fisty, BishounenTaurus, omnifreaker, Digital Lite Design...and I know I'm forgetting some...(sorry). Plus there are some good freebie shaders available, in places like ShareCG.
Is there a certain type of shader that you are looking for, and have not found?
