Pinning, attaching clothing to M3 morph

Hi, I ran into a problem. I just bought some content and the m3,v3 morphs for genesis.

I am using M3 clothing content, the elder robe for m3 ect. "Example" and when I try and pose him the clothing doesn't move with him

How do I attach or pin the clothing to the genesis, I never had this happen so I don't know how to pin them on him. I clicked around a bit and couldn't figure it out, it usually just automatically does it for me.

Can anyone help?

Thank You in advance

Use FitTo in the Parameters tab for the Item. FitTo Genesis as you are using a Morph on Genesis for the M3 shape.

. When I pose my character my clothing goes all crazy, how can I fix that?

Can you elaborate a bit please. What happens exactly when you pose your character, and can you post a screen shot of the problem?

Is this still Genesis with the M3 shape morph applied, and M3 clothing Autofitted to it? What clothing is it?

Thanks for the help too JimmyC,

I am using the M3 morph for Genesis and using M3 clothing on it. Wizard Robe is the item giving me problems right now, but I have come across this problem many times, Example: Feary wings deluxe ect..

I always use Genesis because it allows me to morph the bodies and heads with much greater freedom to develop the features I would like my character to have. So, I always use Genesis for everything.

I have left some attachments to show you whats going on with M3 Genesis morph and M3 Wizard Robe.

Sorry, I need to ask a few more questions.

Are you fitting the M3 robe to Genesis which has the M3 shape for Genesis applied? Does Autofit pop up and ask you what figure it is meant for, and what type of clothing it is?

That robe, when used with the M3 base model, probably has a lot of morphs and sliders in the Parameters tab to allow the clothing to pose well when the character moves. When it is Autofitted to Genesis, some of these may be lost, but have you looked in the Parameters pane, with the robe selected, to see if there are any that would help out?

Autofit does it's best to fit clothing to Genesis, and it works well for most things, but long dresses (or robes like you are using) can give problems. It is bedtime here, but if you give a bit more info, I'm sure someone will be able to help you. There may not be a satisfactory solution, but you never know, there are a lot of clever people round here.

Yes, I am fitting the M3 robe to Genesis which has the M3 shape for Genesis applied.

After it is applied to Genesis with morph applied it goes on, but not properly. I need to go to parameters and fit to Genesis Then the options pop up for me. I choose M3 and what clothing type it is. What would I pick for wings?

"When it is Autofitted to Genesis, some of these may be lost, but have you looked in the Parameters pane, with the robe selected, to see if there are any that would help out?" Yes, I have done this, but once the Robe becomes disfigured it will always stay that way no matter how you adjust it to make it look natural.

I know that for people who aren't familiar with these types of softwares there is a lot of learning to be done, it's not as easy as advertised and most certainly not free. LOL!!!I am a retired Commercial Diver who has a great interest in my artistic side now that I spend my time sitting at home. If you want to know anything about Diving I would be happy to let you know. :)

Ya, I know there are some nice and helpful people, but as in life not easily found. Thank you very much for your time and help I appreciate it.

And thank you JadeRail and anyone else that tries helping
