Genesis turned into a ghost?
So, I have a slight issue with the image I'm currently trying to render - namely, that when rendered in 3Delight, Genesis turns transparent (not invisible, it's just very non-opaque). She looks fine in the active viewport. I've hit a dead-end with my attempts to fix it, so hopefully someone here will have some ideas.
Things I have tried:
-Changing the skin mats and resetting to the default grey - all end up transparent.
-Fiddling with the texture editor, including checking all opacities, the UV, and translucencies.
-Restarting Daz Studio.
-Checking to make sure it's set to show in render.
3Delight render/viewport render attached.

I know you said you checked the opacities, but just to be clear, there is no transmap accidentally applied to the opacity channel, is there?
If you are using a Uber Surface shader be sure Fantom is not on.
No, I checked those (and just double-checked), all clear. :/ Thanks, though. :)
I don't think I am, but just in case, where would I check that? I don't recall seeing that option before.
Great idea. I've not seen anything like this before except under the conditions we mentioned. The only other thing I thought was "visible in render", but Ranger thought of that too.
Will do - I have another scene rendering right now, but I'll upload the screenshots as soon as it's done and I can take them. :)
Here you go - all the sliders in the surface tab and the display section of the parameters section just in case.
It is deff loading a shader but I'm not sure which one. And as far as I can tell it should be rendering.
Looks like pwSurface if I'm not mistaken. One thing to note is that you have translucency active on the surface set to 10.4%. Try disabling it by switching the 'Translucency Active' option to 'off. Also, you might want to lower the reflection level, as it's currently set to maximum in the example you gave.
The shader is just HSS. I copied all of these settings into a Genesis skin and mine renders just fine (actually looks really good, so thanks for the settings!)
Which version of DS are you using?
Is motion blur on?
There was a problem in some versions of DS 4 together with one morph (fotgot which) and motion blur, the morph just had to be installed, not loaded onto the actual figure.
This week I've run into this problem too. Genesis renders fine until I add Princess, Michelle, or Bree, then it turns ghosty and no matter what texture is applied thereafter or what settings in the surfaces tab are adjusted, the ghosty effect remains. After reading through this thread and trying the suggestions here, I found that turning off motion blur ended the ghosty effect. What puzzles me is that this never happened before. I am not sure what is causing this so suddenly.
