glowing eyes

I am trying to make glowing werewolf eyes like the attached pic. I found this thread http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/10451/, but I don't know what the heck the uber area light shader is let alone how to use it and it makes me feel very newbish, can someone plz hold my hand through this? :red:

You can get the eyes to glow by activating Ambient in the material settings. If I were doing these exact eyes, I would choose a yellow color and start trying different strengths.

To keep the texture for close up's be sure to add the Diffuse texture to the Ambient channel as well. I do for all Ambient glows.
