We definitely need a new "Post Your Renders" thread. So here it is, fourth in the series.

Same as in the old thread, post your images here so we can all gawk and talk.

I'll start it off with an update of something I posted a while back.

You can post renders up to 800x800. It is a temporary meausre until they get the automatic resizing working again.

A couple of tests of lighting for my animation, I've adjusted the mat on Heins beard and gave the Roman and Hein a dirty glow skin, but the other mats still need some attention.

    Thanks for looking

I could smell your foul stench the moment I was brought aboard. I'm surprised you had the courage to post it yourself.

    LOL!

The title to match the fourth installment of this threat was cute. A lot of us Star Wars junkies caught it I'm sure.

(And I was just playing on the quote wagon. I do not think you stink, lol.)

Continuing my vintage movie space craft:

The Cygnus, from the movie, The Black Hole.

Just to note, I had a model of the Cygnus by jhoagland, that obviously took a lot of effort to make, but was very simple in it's geometry in some regards. I found a LWO formatted model somewhere (I'll try and find the the info. to give proper credit for the model) that is much more detailed, however the UV mapping didn't translate to Carrara very well at all, so I decide to redo all the shaders with procedurals. I had also done the light effects by using a glow channel, but decided to try translucency instead and light the ship from within. Here's the result. C&C welcome.

Nice renders. Love the ship evilproducer.

I did an image with some items I picked up in the RawArt sale. Quite a bit of post.

Anyone else having trouble posting in the forums. I can only post every once in a while. I have to logout, and then login under the shop window, and then sometimes I can post.

I'm not sure on the status of that bug. I've never run into it myself, but some of the other mods run into it frequently.
