Parenting characters to other characters

Hello all,
I was wondering if it is possible to parent one character to another character. The first character has animation key-frames(not ani-blocks, it is a custom animation) and I want to have another character doing the exact same thing. And since there is no way for me to copy and paste key-frames from one character to another, I was wondering if you can parent one character to another o it will follow the other's animation.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks!

Parenting won't work, as you can only parent a figure to a single parent -- you can't parent each bone of one figure t the corresponding bone of another. Couldn't you save the animation as a pose preset and apply it to the second figure?

It's a pretty long animation for that, I think(never tried it). It's a dinosaur fight that so far covers over 700 frames. And I'm actually finding that by parenting each individual part to the matching part of the original figure, that some semblance of animation matching is occurring. I will most likely have to adjust the parameters of each key-frame, but hopefully this will be easier than re-animating that much animation.
I will keep this post updated as I gather results.
    Thanks!

So, I think you were right, parenting did not give me the results I needed. I'm just matching the animation manually. Thanks for the advice though.

Have you tried saving a pose preset? it should, if you tell it to, save every frame.
