I have seen the FAQ and topics, for installs and I am just lost....

Greetings,

Over the years I have installed and used many programs, without too many headaches. This one has me dizzy.

I originally installed the 4.5 and associated materials using the Download Install Manager, apparently successfully (yes I am that confused).
Received the 4.6 update notification email, clicked and followed the link. When the DIM opened, it showed nothing. Refresh, checked settings, have not changed the defaults.

I have downloaded the products from the product Library, upgraded to 4.6 and new decimator. After this I am clueless, confused and being reduced to mental rubble.

Do not understand what to do with these

IM00016324-01_SubsurfaceShaderBase.zip Today
IM00014811-02_InstallManagerDefaultFilters.dsx Today
IM00014811-02_InstallManagerDefaultFilters.zip Today
IM00014812-01_GenesisStarterEssentials.dsx Today
IM00014812-01_GenesisStarterEssentials.zip Today
IM00014812-02_GenesisStarterEssentialsPoserC... Today
IM00014812-02_GenesisStarterEssentialsPoserC... Today
IM00016324-01_SubsurfaceShaderBase.dsx Today

These are installed
DAZStudio_4.6.0.18_Win64.exe Today
DS4_Decimator_1.4.0.18_Win64.exe Today

Any help appreciated.

    IM00016324-01_SubsurfaceShaderBase

This is a new shader for SSS (and other uses) that is free with DS4.6

    IM00014811-02_InstallManagerDefaultFilters

This is a set of filters for DIM to easily filter by date, tag, or SKU range.

    IM00014812-01_GenesisStarterEssentials

This is the free content that comes with DS4.6 -- Genesis, an assortment of free hair, clothing, and characters, a dragon, a few environments.

If you want to use Genesis items in Poser 9/PP2012 via the DSON Importer for Poser, you need the PoserCF as well; otherwise you can ignore it.

Download them from the Product Library page and put them in the DIM download folder. Click the refresh icon at the top and DIM will show them as Ready to Install.
