Trying to use genesis figure

I am very new to the 3d art world, I've watched the tutorials and I can't figure out how to fit boots to genesis figure.
I can fit genesis to right or left boots, but not both feet. Soon as I try the other foot it goes down but the foot already fitted pops back up. It's frustrating as hell. How do you select each foot to auto fit to each boot, cause it always says fit genesis to either right or left boot.
Any help for a new guy would be much appreciated.

    Boots either comes as a pair or you get separate items left boot and right boot. You fit the boots or boot to Genesis not Genesis to the boots.

    Ok, I thought you could fit genesis to boots so I would not have to manually adjust feet for high heeled boots.
    The boots I'm using are from hero latex costume. So once I fit boots to genesis, then do I adjust each foot so genesis stands in them properly?

    Yes that should work. sorry I don't have that set so I can't check. Some sets come with a pose to pose the feet.

    Hey that's cool, I just like the fact that everyone here is helpful. I'll try adjusting feet separately !
