Problem With HFS Shapes...
I just picked up the HFS Shapes for Genesis and im having an issue. First of all i upgraded to Daz 4.6 this morning BEFORE i installed the product so i dont know if that is an issue but i doubt it.
I installed the files per the Readme and when i try to load a premade figure from the Genesis Shapes located under "My Libraries" i get a "Error occured check Log File"
"Full Log entry: "WARNING: QAccessibleWidget::rect: This implementation does not support subelements! (ID 2 unknown for QWidget)
Error reading file, see log for more details."
I go under the Shapes tab and i cant find anything relating to HFS Shapes... Basically im stuck and not sure what is wrong. What am i doing wrong?
I later uninstalled and reinstalled and still same issue. I do see a two Morph Icons that seem to relate to shaping that were installed in the "data" folder but they are not in the shaping tab and i have no idea how to use them.
Please Help.

HFS Shapes? What product is this, and can you give a link please?
I amy be a bit dense, but I can't figure it out :)
Its a Renderosity product and i would have posted a question to that Forum but this product is for Genesis.

I'm using DS4.6 and HFS Shapes without issue. Of course, I also don't use the Shaping tab, I dial the morphs directly from Actor/Universal/Fantasy SciFi/HFS in the Parameters Tab of Genesis.
Honestly you're more likely to get help with a Rendo product here than at Rendo forums owing to difference in participation level.
Yeah, I'm having the exact same problem....
I cant get the Kergan, Iradian, or Talarian morphs to show up any where in DAZ. I even tried updating to DAZ 4.6 and re installing them today, but still no dice...
EDIT(6/20/2013 3.57 PM)
I'm not trying to be a jerk, but this is the kind of stuff that really irks me.
There is no reason why we(The consumer) should have to know as much about Computer Programming as the guy that made it. I'm not saying that the guy that made this should have coded a easy to use installer, but there's no reason why this product couldn't have been packaged in such a way that we(the consumers) can't just extract the "Runtime" folders into ".../DAZ 3D/Studio/My Libaray" and it run the way it's supposed to...
I feel like I been ripped off..
I am having the same problem as telli777. How do you get the .duf and .dsf files to show in the "actors" Section, or Parameters at all! And the fix for Duplicate Forms Error doesn't work either.
This is where the morphs are (see attached picture, click to enlarge and see the cruddy highlighting overlay).
Make sure you pasted the My Library directory from HFS_Shapes_For_Genesis_139045.zip over your own My Library folder. It needs to be the one that contains your Genesis.duf or Genesis.dsf in My Library/People/Genesis, if you have more than one library or runtime.
I don't know why this is proving so difficult for people, but I have to sympathize with Hellfish Studios' Dariofish on this one. I routinely get complaints from customers at Renderosity who are getting an error because they copied files to the wrong location.
If I could figure out what people are doing, I would state in the readme how to avoid this problem, but I can't for the life of me figure out what's going wrong with "copy this My Library over that My Library and say yes to merge."
I had trouble with installing this content as well. My issue was even though I dragged and dropped the contents on the appropriate folder for it to sort and place in the right locale, my library it didn't make it to its destination. Usually this works in win 7 with content going to the correct location. but it didn't this time. I had to manually go in and make sure content was in the proper directory, once I did that voila. It showed.
So sometimes I think the drag and drop method may not actually work with zips. I've had that happen with 3rd party clothing installers too. Sometimes I just have to go in and make sure the directories are in the correct place.
OH
I wonder if that's it.
Windows doesn't always accurately copy and paste from inside a zip file (sometimes it won't copy some files). So if people are just copying from inside the .zip without unzipping first, yes, I can see why issues are resulting. I wonder if Rendo would let me include a text file that's just called UNZIPDONTCOPYFROMTHEZIPFILE.TXT. At least that would force people to see the message even if they don't read the readme.

This has proven to be the case for me.

I just bought the HFS Shapes pack the other day. In the zip file, there is a My Library with two folders, data and !!HellFishStudios. In Windows OS, I just dragged those two folders into my only DS Content folder "My Library". Can't get any simpler then that.
There is My Library>!!HellFishStudio>Genesis Shapes with presets, and in the Shaping Tab, the morphs show up under Actor>Universal>Fantasy SciFi.
My HFS shapes are scattered around.... I just click on the Parameters tab, click ALL at the top, then put hfs in the search box and they all show up. These are all great for building alien characters.... nice skins too in some of their products.
Hi, I had the same problem and solved it : the problem is path location indeed. I made a clean fresh install of DS4.6. I created a external runtime folder because I don't want my library on the C disk.
Everything seems to be clear in the readme file ? Yes, except one point : I have no "MyLibrary" folder in my runtime but I have in another one.
Solution to make it work :
As SickleYield said : " It needs to be the one that contains your Genesis.duf or Genesis.dsf in My Library/People/Genesis, if you have more than one library or runtime. ", except I have no "My Library" folder but directly /People/Genesis/Genesis.duf so it is the good library. Copy the folder !!HellFishStudios inside your library (yes on the root level) and merge the data folder with the one on the root level also. Now, when I load a Genesis figure from this library, I have the morph dials.
For packagers :
What confused me previously is that I have another DS runtime folder but this one contains a "My library" folder ont he same level than the "data" folder. So I followed the readme and copied the 2 folders in this "My Library" folder : it did not work because this My Library folder did not contain the genesis.duf.
Sounds not clear, screenshots :
Setting does not working :
Working setting (hope it helps) :
I recently got the GF2 shapes pack as well as the shapes collection pack with the ME shapes and i can only get the female one for the GF2 set to work and the shapes collection pack gives me an error when attempting to load them onto a genesis male. I also have the Talarian and cant find the morphs for it and have look and tried all solutions. I am a newbie to DAZ3D so there is a chance that i might be installing it all wrong or somewhat wrong. If anyone has a detailed folder setup that works for this then could someone post it. SOme posts show a universal section for the fantasy figures and what not but i don't have a folder like that. If anyone is still watching this cold you please help if you know what is going on
