Some textures not importing into Vue 11

edited December 1969 in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I'm making characters in Daz to import into Vue as collada files so I can fine tune the poses, but with most of them the textures show up in Vue as a solid silver and I can't change them. The Genesis character will import with a skin texture but hair and clothes textures show up as shiny silver. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I've tried baking but it makes no difference, and I have the big cat pack but none of the skin textures import with them at all just the Genesis skin is all I can get to import properly. I don't want static obj files as I can't do any fine tuning of poses with them. Please help!

Nevermind, I figured it out, import the files, overwrite the incorrect textures with a texture from Vue then load the mapped texture back up and apply.

Thread moved to Nuts and Bolts as it was not a Bryce query.

Reflectivity often has to be lowered when importing these into Vue. For that reason I prefer OBJ imports. Fine tuning poses isn't much of an issue. I go back and forth from Daz to Vue until correct.
